You suddenly end up in a new world, one where you are either lost, or are being hunted.

For mysterious reasons, those with magical powers of any kind are considered dangerous and must be captured, and later killed. A rule enforced and created by a mysterious government, who controls a powerful military known as "Alpha" who go out into the streets armed with modern tech to enslave those with magic.

some with magic have even joined forces with the Government for their own gain. But those who rebel have set up a secret city deep below the world, enforced by the strongest of magical spells, a place where those with magic are safe to live and work, while those with a bit of daring adventure go to the surface to try and stop any others from being killed

So where do you stand in this never ending nightmare?

Alpha members are on patrols or watching out for magical people. Resistance is either being safe in the resistance city, or out in the dangerous Alpha guarded city for supplies.

That's old news.

Five years have passed since the holy war between alphas and the resistance, the world has had so much time to restore and expand since then. Natives from this 'mysterious world' (which we call the central universe for convenience), as well as beings from universes far away have gathered here to live together.

Little did they know, something even worse than the war was bubbling under the surface of what they thought was their safe future.

The cottage remained where it was, by the cliffs and fields and mountains. The town they lived near expanded greatly, becoming a wonderful neighborhood. Nice places to go to, nice people, nice school. We start at 14:30 on a crisp autumn day (September 30, to be exact).

Mercy, still the same goddess as ever, waited by the door for Caspian and Isabelle to come home. She had a smile on her face, as she always did this when they came home from school. "Eclipse, your brother and sister are almost home!"

Something to mention about this world. It happened out of nowhere, but is now a regular occurrence. Small tremors will come and go, around once a week. No one knows what it is, and it isn't bad enough to affect anything. Mercy has grown accustomed to it, so when a slight shaking began, she didn't pay any attention to it.

Yumine was upstairs in his room, as always. He was cleaning it again, moving the furniture a bit to get the dust from underneath. A cassette tape of whale songs played in the background as he moved about.

Cloudy tapped his pen against his desk before scribbling an answer. College was hard. And so was being a half god, but we don't talk about that. He heard that Caspian was coming home so he opened the window to greet him.

Isabelle was heading home from school eagerly, excited. She liked her teacher, and all her new friends. She had been in school for a while now, relearning basic stuff. She was also happy because she had a good day! None of the annoying kids had decided to bother her, and she was doing well in school.

Uriela stands after a long day at work. It seemed as though every day more and more kids would come into her room to get healed. She began to wonder if they were being reckless only because they knew she was the school nurse.

She brushes her hair out of her eyes, grabs her bag, and heads into town. She did have to grab a few things for home as well. She arrives at the supermarket and walked inside. It was unusually busy here, but what was to expect? This city had come from such a dark place not too long ago, so everyone was just happy to be here today.

Iteral was, as usual, up for a few shenanigans. Though this time, nowhere near as messy or destructive as her past self (to which she still speaks to time to time):

She did the typical thing of dressing up as Mercy, aging herself up with her ageless watch to match her in age and appearance, and stand on the other side of the door, giving her a cunning smile. "You think this time he'll fall for me instead?" She sticks her tongue out, giggling a bit.

Old habits die hard, but they sure can evolve.

Caspian was making his way home from school with Isabelle. He had mixed feelings at school. He liked being able to learn so many things, but also didn’t like going away from Mercy and with a bunch of people he considered strangers. He saw the cottage with both Mercy’s, one of them being Iteral he guessed, and Eclipse up ahead and waved to them. He had his hoodie over his head but took it off.

Eclipse was standing on all fours behind Mercy and Iteral, excited for Caspian to come home. Some of the stars on his wings were glowing because of him being excited. He couldn’t wait for his brother to come back from school.

Caleb was walking around town. He wasn’t really doing anything and was ignoring all the people who were walking by or giving him strange looks. He seemed to blend into the crowd but also stood out because of his young age.

Mercy laughed. "Only if he isn't able to tell that your hips are wider than mine, being he has his tail wrapped around them all the time." She stuck her tongue back out at Iteral for a moment, then kneeled down and outstretched her arms. "My babies are back~! How was school?"

Isabelle blinked at the two for a moment, before sighing and heading up to her room without saying anything. She knew one was Iteral and the other was Mercy, but she didn't know the difference between the two when they looked so much alike.

Beatrix was wandering around one of the bigger cities, humming a tune. She was happy.

Caspian arrived at the house with Isabelle, looking between the two Mercy’s, then said, “Hi Mom, hi ssssssssisssssss.” He gave Mercy a hug and then went over to the Mercy-disguised Iteral and gave her a hug. “Maybe next time you could trick me.” he said. “Mom’s hips are a bit shorter and Mom’s hair is also a bit lighter.” he told her, slithering back over to Mercy. He didn’t say anything about his day at school. He passed his test today, and nobody really made fun of him either, so it was good. Caspian waved up at Cloudy after he waved down, saying “Hi!”

Eclipse gave Caspian a pat on the head and said, “Welcome back bro.” After that, he saw Isabelle go up to her room and decided to follow her. He wanted to see if anything was wrong.

Mercy cracked up again, nodding her head. "See, Iteral? He's a smart boy. Oh, look at you! So precious- the years really flew by with you!" She held him tight, walking back inside while holding his hand. "If you want a snack or anything, just ask. Your father is in his study across my room." She kissed his forehead and walked upstairs to check on Isabelle and Eclipse.

"Well what do you expect, my little olea." Iteral couldn't help but chuckle, shaking herself to symbolize her turning back. She... actually resembled a past Mercy pretty well, apart from the whole "black instead of pink" ordeal and the aforementioned wider build. "Oh yeah, I'll hit him up, gotta tell him that the final reparations are complete. You mind if I raid the snack stash?" The time witch smiled, already on her way.

You know the first rule in combat? shoot them before they shoot you.

“Well, you looked a bit upset when you cam in, so I decided to come cheer you up.” Eclipse said to Isabelle cheerily. He was smiling brightly, and looking behind him. “Hi again Mama.” he said to her, waving and then turning back to Eclipse. “So is something wrong?” he asked her.

Caspian nodded to Mercy and then got himself a snack of gummy fish and went up to the art room to start working on his big project again. He was getting really close to finishing it. It was a very detailed picture of a sea serpent in massive waves of ocean with a sailing ship. He had gotten better at his drawing and it was very detailed.
