LynxFur slowly trudged into the warriors den with a small mouse in her jaws. She walked into the warrior's den gulping down the mouse in a few big bites. LyxnFur licked her lips and began to groom herself, once she felt awake she trotted into the nursery to play with the kits, she tossed around moss balls and picked up the kits. She talked with the queens and chatted with the kits.
SpiderLeg headed to the apprentice to start his training with Sunpaw.

Sunpaw awoke rather early that day. She eagerly awaited the arrival of her mentor. She got up carefully, mindful of nearly tripping on only three paws. She was thankful her mentor understood what she was going through. Spiderleg and herself were both missing a back leg and both were ridiculed for this reason. But Sunpaw did her best to ignore the taunts of the clan members. She would prove them wrong! Spotting Spiderleg's approach, Sunpaw quickly moved to meet him with a smile on her face, ready for what he had in mind for training.
Darkkit sat in a dark corner of the nursery, grumpily watching the other kits play with Lynxfur. She didn't understand why the she-cat even bothered playing with the kits. Surely the mentor had more important matters to attend to rather than play with these mousebrain kits. Oh well, Darkkit wouldn't have to deal with this for much longer. Soon she would be six moons old and made an apprentice, then she'd be free of having to constantly being around these weak kits. She could only hope she got a good mentor...

HollowEyes was pretty much against Amberclaw at all costs, they felt that she had raised too many flags for them but kept quiet, watching on. They decided to rest for now and returned to the elders den and as expected, they heard lots of gossiping among them but HollowEyes ignored it for now, they were too tired for drama these days.

SpiderLeg quickly greeted Sunpaw nudging her into the gathering crowd, "We'll going train at sunning rocks after AmberClaws is officially named leader," he whispered. SpiderLeg looked at AmberClaw, he had always found her slightly peculiar, they both had right white front legs, and she tended to act softer towards him, SpiderLeg would forget about it thinking only that it's always a coincidence. Under the Highrock, he pushed his way forward, tripping over a stone, SpiderLeg winced visibly tumbling around trying to get up.

Sunpaw beamed happily when Spiderleg told her they would be training at the sunning rocks. She liked the warmth that came from them on a sunny day. She was quick to help her mentor when he stumbled, making sure to keep her own balance as well.
Darkkit was surprised when Lynxfur rolled a mossball to her. She was certain the older she-cat would have not noticed her in favor of the other kits. That's how she was able to sneak off so often, the other kits were rambunctious enough to draw attention to themselves, giving Darkkit a clear opening to escape. She grimaced at the mossball, but couldn't resist batting it a little bit. She was still a kit, she could have a playful moment if she wanted to.

LynxFur stared up at the highrock with expectant eyes, she hoped AmberClaw had changed but she knew there was a small chance of her change. As SpiderLeg tumbled LynxFur snickered a little.

"It has been a while, and how are you with your medicine cat duties?" Spiritpaw asked shyly.
Perhaps she was thinking about Amberclaw.... now Amberstar.
"I am perfectly fine....woah!" somebody bumped into Angelpaw, knocking her over.
It was AmberStar. She just glared at her and went off.
"Ahhh...Why did Mothcloud...Ugh, Starclan, choose her as the Leader? She is not the best cat to do so..."
Spiritpaw was mumbling.
"...Only Starclan knows." Angelpaw replied, her eyes fixed on Amberstar's Golden-Ginger fur.

SpiderLeg quickly took notice of the snickering as he saw LynxFur, he made a sighing face towards her as to say, Oh, boy, he smiled as she grinned goofily.

Sunpaw was shocked. The leader had fallen?! And the new leader would be Amberclaw?! She glanced at Spiderleg...
Darkkit sat at the nursery entrance. She could hear the meeting from here...

AmberClaw had a wicked grin strapped to her face, "Yes," she replied, "I shall take.." she glanced at spiderleg with another warm but almost worried motherly gaze, the kind they would give to when you're all grown up. She quickly saw his missing leg and shook her head nearly shrinking back in fear and regret. "You there," she said, pointing at Lynxfur, "and, you" she added pointing towards Darkkit in the nursery.
Quickly Lynxfur shouted "Me!?", and then "how do you even see her! She's just a kit! In the nursery", she lowered her head and whispered "No offense,"

Sunpaw was shocked by two things. First, Amberclaw had looked at her mentor and momentarily didn't look so tyrannical. She had looked almost like a mother looking at their kit... Then, there was the fact that Amberclaw had chosen a KIT to act as a guard. What was Amberclaw thinking?!
Darkkit's eyes widened. Did she hear correctly? SHE had been chosen to act as a guard for their new leader to gain her nine lives?! Her chest puffed up with pride. Someone saw her as more than just a kit! She marched to the meeting, head up and tail straight proudly.

AmberClaw rolled her eyes, these cats were so caring, if something happened to the kit then whatever, she needed to boost everyone's confidence for the final strike, starting with the most easily influenced. She looked towards the kit with an almost maniacal glimmer in her eyes.
Lynfur looked back and forth if she was going to actually do this she would need to keep her guard up, however, they should be safe, they were traveling to the moonstone, after all, starclan blesses all cats with a safe journey heading there. The only problem was rouges and loners, they presented a threat to all clans. Lynxfur glanced at Darkit, "Sorry about the kit thing, " she whispered, "but are you sure you want to do this, you'll have to eat disgusting herbs," she added.

Sunpaw agreed with her mentor's sentiments. The kit could get hurt! Why did Amberclaw choose a kit?!
Darkkit fought the urge to hiss at the warrior, Lynxfur. She was more than just a kit. She would be a proud and accomplished warrior! She nodded, speaking for the first time, "For the future of the Clan!"

Spiderleg looked at LynFur, "LynxFur!" he chided, looking back at sunpaw he blankly said "Well, Amberclaw sucks."
AmberClaw looked down, "This clan meeting is over!" she announced sending everyone back to their dens and activities, "You two!" she called out to LynxFur and Darkit, "I'll need you to start getting ready I'll tell you when to head to the medicine den", she left trotting away.

Sunpaw giggled a little at Spiderleg's comment. Hopefully things would work out. In the meantime, it was time for training!
Darkkit's answer was quick. "I want to see the apprentice and warrior dens!" Finally, a break from the mousebrained kits in the nursery.

What is the meaning of Amberclaw choosing a kit...still a kit.
"Hope things will end safely." she says, as she rushes out gathers the herbs now out of stock.
Spiritpaw heads back to the apprentice den, and meets Darkkit.
She thinks, "That little one is going to a journey... Wonder if it can come back safely..."

SpiderLeg smiled, "Wanna head to sunningrocks now?", he asked.
AmberClaw watched everyone from next to the highrock, she paid close attention, spiderleg was caring, sunpaw was trusting, the grey one was silly, the kit was proud, and Mothcloud her apprentice, and the rest of the clan were untrusting. She would have to do something about this, and soon.

Darkkit nodded to show she was listening as Lynxfur spoke. The apprentice den wasn't too different from the nursery, just a few differences. Soon enough she'd be able to stay in this den, away from the nursery...

LynxFur looked down, "So, once you're an apprentice you'll be sleeping here, when you are be aware of your surroundings, try not to bring any sort of stench or sleep in someone else's bed. One of the main differences is that well, this is more of a den, not so much made up of branches." She was remembering the time she fell into fox dung, it did not help her reputation. LynxFur quickly shook her head shaking away the thought.
AmberClaw walked into the medicine den, serious and almost bored, "Are you done with the herbs?" she asked staring at the stone shelves filled with supplies.
