I was wondering if a shiny Pokemon were to be on the honey tree would it show as shiny when looking at the tree or do I need to catch it to find out.

There would be a shiny drawing of the pokemon as well as the text would have a star: 'Look! A [pokemon] ⭐ is eating your honey!'
