Either the resistance leader, a small child, or the higher power leader, a half man half machine, stepped through.
(Depending on which you've chosen) The small girl explains that there's a brutal war and they need more power and workforce. The half man half machine explains that there's pests invading what was rightfully theirs. Your characters accepted, stepped through the portal and waited for everyone to get there.
Haruka grinned. "This'll be fun!" Man, actual excitement. At first, she had eyes the half man half machine guy, but listened to every word he said. She excitedly agreed and was waiting for him to get back from portal jumping.
Besides her, Katherine flipped her hair dramatically. She grinned as well, but it was more of a sweet looking grin compared to Haruka's childish face. She could use some makeup. . and maybe some etiquette tutoring.

Yumine pulled his hood up and put the mask on properly. He had no intentions to interact other than the tasks he needed to accomplish.

❛ Oh, boy. ❜ A grin couldn’t help but slither it’s way onto his face. It had been quite a while since Axel had been included in any action throughout the world, much less the multiverse. The robot man had offered him a one way ticket to kicking butt and looking cool, but sinister, while doing it. Maybe he could actually use his powers this time, if any of the enemies were actually strong enough for that.
He stepped through the portal, examining his surroundings as he followed the cyborg in charge. Once instructed, he stopped, searching around the small crowd he’d be working with on this mission.

❛ A waste of my time is what I would call this, ❜ Blair scoffed, blowing a tuft of hair away from his eyes, recovering his sight. He strode on through the glowing portal-thing, taking in the beginning scenery, ❛ what in Boiling Aisles is this..? ❜ He gaped, his eyes bulletins around to all the different things he could see. His cello weighed him down, so he walked a bit slower than a normal ‘person’ would. Inconvenient. He was only good with it when playing, and now he would get the chance to practice.

Nariko decided to follow Aloy into the portal. This sounded interesting anyways, and she needed something new to do.
Libra had entered the portal and was listening to music on her battlestaff phone, waiting for further instructions. Who were they fighting anyways? Did they make good toys to play with?
For Macawi, it was a different story.
She was just vibing in her hideout when a portal opened up, yet no one came through. Just the portal and her. She was about to leave it alone but a flyer came in talking about war. A distraction.
A chance for her to make a name in the city. A different City. She could use the war as a means to steal from both sides, and be her criminal self again.
Grabbing her stuff, she started packing things she knew she needed. Change of clothes, criminal equipment, ect. Once those were safely packed, she took a deep breath and entered the portal. Day 1, she would focus on getting settled in, but day 2, she was gonna try and steal something from one of the sides

Yumine put his hands in his pockets and looked around. There were more people now, huh. Figures. It wouldn't be logical to do all of it himself. He just joined because there was no one else on his list. He sighed and stretched. He'd get rid of the pests, no exceptions allowed. He made up his mind.

The first priority for her was finding a place to stay while she was in this city. Then she would need to find a place to use as her hideout, and after all that, her criminal game could begin.

Penny stepped out of the portal. "Where am I?" she asked herself. She thought about what she could do. She decided that the smartest option was to look around. She wanted an abomination to guard her though. Anything could be out here. "Abomination, rise," she commanded. And abomination seemed to rise out of the ground. "Abomination, guard" Penny ordered. The abomination stood in front of her. Penny headed forward, excited for new adventures.
Aqua stepped through the portal. She wasn't in the sea. She was on land. She flapped her wings and flew into the air. She looked around. Nothing here seemed to look anything like Pyrrhia to her. Why had a scavenger talked to her? She decided that instead of trying to find out where she was, she would try finding out who that scavenger was. The scavenger seemed to not want to do any harm to her. She wanted to meet the scavenger again, and the only way to do that was to find somebody who knew how. She stepped forward, ready to meet somebody who knew, scavenger or not.

Haruka chuckled, pounding her first against her palm. "Let's go crush those pests." She whispered under her breath.
Katherine rolled her eyes. "Show off." She said, commenting on Alexander's group of 'bodyguards'.
Celeste also went through the buildings rooms, but with a more nicer tone. "There's a weaponry room, a workshop, and tons of empty space!" She said. "Anyone have any questions?"

“Heck yes! I’m living in a dream! I can have so many weapons around my belt! Those insects shall cower in fear upon seeing us all!” Axel cheered, rushing off immediately towards the weaponry to grab his main weapon, a sword. Well, more like a katana.

“Puny little children. Using sharp one-pronged forks to fight off some annoying cockroaches. All I need is me and my cello. That’s all.” Blair smirked, walking over to hang out in the empty area, full of space.

Yumine grabbed a simple kitchen knife and slid it into a pocket That would do. He swept his hair off his face and just went somewhere else. The pests wouldn't be attacking yet so there would be nothing to worry about. First, he had to check if there were vents.

Libra decided to go on a patrol, listening to a certain catchy tune while she did so. This song was like her entire life, infact it almost was.
Macawi continued walking around, looking for... open building that she could temporarily rent. Or maybe permanently buy. She would ask around, but she didn't want to get involved in this silly war just yet. She would get involved once her name was known to this world.

Frog was oblivious to the fact that weapons were available. He flew on into nowhere. He wondered if there would be somebody else the further he went. He felt excited about the fact that he might find another person working to defeat the pests and his stripes turned yellow. Well, that's one way to get noticed. Stay cool, Frog he thought to himself. His stripes turned black again as he flew on.
Penny didn't need any weapons. She only needed her hand to make a spell circle. She went on, hoping to find a discarded piece of concrete and a large and sturdy stick for her to make a shelter for the night. She walked around, looking for those things and she wondered where the people who were collecting weapons were going to go next. What if somebody ambushed her while she was sleeping? New plan, Penny thought to herself. I will stay up all night, keeping guard of wherever I decide to settle.

Katherine lingered by the weapons. Usually Princes handle these . . How do you use this? She held a dagger in her hands, fumbling with it and dropping it. It's metal clanged against the floor and she visible flinched.

Yumine silently slipped outside. He scanned the place for anyone, nope there's no one, then lifted his wings and vaulted into the sky leaving clouds of dust at his liftoff. Patrol would be easier if you couldn't be seen. He silently glided over everyone, watching what they might do. He was unaware which side they were on.
