By which I mean any event items that were part of a one off event, regardless of what it was. From past or if such a thing exists in future events. I have not been on the site very long so I don't know how else to word it but items that don't re appear once every year or are going to be retired. If that makes sense?

You could balance it out by making it so that unlike the Pokémon eggs themselves you can only buy one of each item per account. Or make it so you can buy as many as you want, but they can only be used by you and are not tradable or sellable as they are, such as in the case of evolution items for example. Or maybe make it so neither is the case but none of them will be below uncommon or rare in terms of ticket price? Just something that keeps the current value of those already in circulation but also allows others to get at least one later via the use of nuggets.

This would give people more ways/ reasons to support the site and make it so people who join later on in time can have access to event stuff without messing with the in game economy too much. If it works how I am thinking it might, I apologise if this would break something in anyway or is a bad idea. It was just a thought I had while looking in the event shop.

I do support, tho not fully. If the item is not tradeable, it will:

1) it (might) take Riako a while to figure out how to make sure it can’t be traded
2) how are you going to be able to differentiate between non-tradeable items and tradeable items. Since if you were to put the item in ‘Key Items’ then it can’t even be used/held by the pokemon.

I suggest it can be bought with pd (tho quite expensive) and only for a limited time every month or so. Bc if new users spend their money on nuggets, the can easily buy loads and sell them for op pokemon. Tradeable should be still implemented though.

Oh I fully agree something will need to be put into place, though the idea some might buy loads of nuggets and flood the market was why one of the suggestions was to limit it to one per account. Or regulate it by having them t the higher ticket prices only. I do agree limiting it by making it not tradable could be difficult to pull off though, depending on coding.

I'm not sure on the how, that would be up to Riako at the end of the day, but I just think some event items, evolution or otherwise would benefit from being in the event shop and in turn would help the site out fund wise too if planned for.

I agree in a sense. I had to ask a quick question to verify before I added on to this, but I believe items like the King’s Rod and such should be able to be acquired in some way, shape, or form. Or else it’s just going to sit there greyed out and never achievable? (I can’t think of another item that may be like that) Since I don’t believe events ever repeat, it should definitely be sold in the item shop as a key item or just be unlockable in some way after the event has ended. Event shop would be a good place as well, as it’d atleast give me a way to spend some points instead of hoping to get a hunt voucher, as just buying the one event mon isn’t usually worth it. It’s easier to get PD to buy from a user than it is to get those points up, imo.

Or maybe add yet another reason to fish, and make that mysterious silver box that shows up when viewing mystery items a useful thing. It could have a very low rate at popping up and then be riddled with some event points, kings rod, azure flute, game chips, gems, (other event items there may be), fragments of a rumble map or radar that you have to get enough pieces to make the map or radar that can lead to some of the retros you can’t get (unless I’m mistaken and you can still get all the retros, then don’t mind that part, I’m always learning the game no matter how long I’m here :P)
