Appearance - He is around 6 foot and about 75% of his body is covered in burn scars, mostly his left side. His left eye is surrounded in burned skin and the eye is glossy, making him blind in said eye. His other eye ,though, is a mix between a violet and a stormy gray, but the bags under his eyes deter the attention away from their unique color. He constantly looks tired and miserable, only cheering up a bit whenever he is around his sister. The few parts of his skin that aren't already covered in scars are speckled with bruises and cuts, showing just how much he's been through. He is very skinny and looks starved, but that's mostly due to his injures. He has unruly, tattered, and washed out brown hair that he tries to cover his face with at all times, but it's a bit difficult given how hard it is for his hair to grow, if at all, on the left side of his head. He typically wears a long-sleeved, plain beige t-shirt and cargo pants, as well as boots that resemble army or hiking books to cover his body so the scars are less noticeable. I think that's everyting, so the rest is TBRPD

Description - He earned quite an interesting nickname of "The Boy Who Survived the Impossible" among the people of the district after a terrifying incident that happened only 2 years ago. Whenever people talk to him or use his name, they always refer to him as "Ash", which is quite cruel considering the meaning behind it. He had been sent to work in the mines, a dangerous place for a 15 year old, and accidentally set off one of the bombs prematurely, and it hit him almost directly. Not only that, the roof collapsed on him and left him stranded for 17 hours, and he was awake the entire time. The accident was so terrible, everyone else thought everyone involved was dead, so he had to crawl out of there all by himself. He was only able to do it due to his condition, congenital insensitivity, which means he cannot feel physical pain. He was treated for his wounds and had to be cared for painfully over the span of 2 months. He is now covered in purplish, thin skin and his left eye is white as snow. He is often ridiculed more than praised these days for his looks and inability to do the work he did before, now he is forced to do housework for others and make a living by being a shopkeeper. He lives with his abusive father, since his mother died while giving birth to his 13 year old sister. He does a lot of the housework and food gathering as his father refuses to do anything and he would rather not have his sister do all the work. The more dark stuff is TBRPD, much like everything else.

Personality - One look at him and you can tell that he's completely done with the world, but holds onto whatever happiness and hope he has left. As stated before, He constantly looks tired and miserable, because he is, but he's also constantly dealing with the struggles of being the most hated kid in the district, even when he did almost nothing wrong. He has learned to just ignore everything and deal with the blows, as that was probably the easiest thing to do. He's very stubborn and doesn't like opening up, hardly saying a word unless needed to and always gives everyone a glare, hopefully sending the message that he doesn't want to be talked to. Despite growing up in a horrible environment, Ashton is surprisingly intelligent and can think of things very quickly. He is also good with his hands, which doesn't exactly have much of a use except for sewing his sister's clothes. On a more positive note, if a conversation is ever engaged with him. he is quite polite and respectful, no matter the circumstance. However, if things start to turn ugly, he will make sure that you get what you deserve. He has a soft spot for younger children, since they aren't very aware of what happened to him and are pretty much the only people who treat him as a human. The rest is TBRPD because I'm very bad with personalities

Weapon of Choice - Despite the tragic incident, he does well at explosives and also has a good hand with bows. He is terrible at anything melee related other than hand to hand combat, but that's it. He can't exactly defend himself if the opponent has a knife or a sword, and doesn't do well when he wields one of his own either.
