ok I've been having a major issue with the block feature on this site. It doesn't work. ...well it works in the sense it puts the user on your blocklist but it doesn't work in preventing contact period.

*I've had people message me for about several minutes after I blocked them (despite my assumption that the block would take effect immediately and prevent that)
*I for some reason can still contact someone in palpad despite the fact I've blocked them with the block in place for a good four months now (I unblocked them then reblocked them to see if it will fix it...it didn't)
*Despite being on my blocklist, I'm still on the person's friendslist and they're able to initiate trades with me despite repeated requests for them to stop and requests for them to remove me from their friendslist
*I've had someone spam item gifts literally so they can message me and ask why I blocked them and to try and get me to unblock them

seriously I thought blocking someone was supposed to prevent all of that!
is anyone else having issues like this?

Yes i hate this. We rly need to completely block them somehow. Its irritating how they can still contact you through private trades

Edit: Also the fact if you block someone you need to visit their profile. Its annoying coz then they'll know you blocked them since you visited their profile😑

@AlienSnowflake: that's actually how the person who spammed item gifts found out I blocked them...also likely the fact they couldn't message me anymore in palpad. Honestly feel like once you block someone, you should be removed from the last visitors section of their profile (at least that should be in place until the block features extend to GTS)
