She woke up hours later. But she wasn't an Eevee anymore. She was in a lab-sort of place, but no weird equipment. It was a Vet.

Her vision was blurry. She tried to make a grunt of pain, or any sort of signal, but it came out as a roar-and distorted.

But that's normal, after all, Eevees are brown! And maybe the black stripes are- tags?

Then, something opened. A small door near the ground, she was on a white table. She felt young and spry, like a young Eevee. She could smell more Tigers- she knew what the striped animals are now.

She shivered, opening her jaws in a yawn. She was trying to play cool, but her heart was hammering against her ribcage.

Eevee tried to stand intimidatingly but it looked more like a cower, making all of the other creatures in the room turn to her as they smelled her fear.

Plus, she was smaller. That wasn't good. But she recognized the biggest one, the pure black one. It must be the one controlling the others, because she was snarling orders at one of them.
