She woke up in a small cage. She tried to move closer to the bars and see what was going on outside. As she did so, an extremely painful shock traveled up her body and paralyzed her. Through the haze of pain, she noticed her legs were cuffed and seemed to be linked to a machine of sorts.
What do I put here?

Humans where swarming around some glass, but she could only faintly hear them.

She took to biting off whatever was holding her down, but it sent shocks through her entire body causing her to stop.

(this poor eevee what are we doing to her)

She could do nothing but stand there helplessly. However, she understood the tiger language and caught a few snippets of what they were planning...

It was faint, but she could hear it. "What do you mean by eating the scrawny cub!?" The black female had yowled at one, getting no response. "I'm going to take it as my own, and protect it with my life. Understand?" Yowls of outrage exploded at that, so loud her ears hurt.

She flattened herself down to the bottom of her cage and covered her ears with her paws. Was she the cub that they were talking about?

The tiger jumped at the cage holding Eevee, trying to cling on and break it from the ceiling. Humans rushed in, shouting.

The other tigers got there before the humans did. Roaring with hunger and bloodlust, they ran to claw at the female tiger for taking away their source of food. "Amber!” the biggest tiger roared. "Whatever are you doing?"

The tiger growled. "I'm not Amber, you are!" The tiger named 'Amber' spat, managing to pull the cage down. The humans shouted even more, running at them.

(The lead/biggest tiger is named Amber ;;-;;)

Eevee saw that they were holding the same thing that they were holding back in the den. One of the humans was waving it around furiously and shouting things she couldn't comprehend. Every tiger in the room turned and sat on their haunch and Eevee felt a force pulling at her brain to do the same.


(oops, the previous story said "with Amber eyes" and I didn't know that was a name, sorry!)

Then, Amber grabbed her by the scruff and bolted, the other tigers lunging at the humans. Amber raced out into a pen, quickly scrabbling up a chain fence, out to freedom of a nearby jungle.
