“Psh, sure” Nakata retorted, “You can’t just shoot the ball to win”
She teased, “Alright let’s go then! Off to my lab” She announced,
“Finally something to do in this dungeon” She said exasperatedly.
"The door?" He blinked slowly. A hand touched the bruises which
still blossomed on his face. "No. I couldn't care less about that."
He examined her keenly. "You think I brought you here to kill
you."
He actually smiled. "Truly? And yet you came here anyway?"

Koda nodded. "My mistrust of you is less than even half of why I am
so nervous." Koda gave an awkward smile, that said 'That's all.'
but her eyes said 'There's more to it.'
"Well, why did you.. bring me here?" She asked quietly.
"I brought you here to talk," Hisoka said simply. "I've been
looking for an opportunity since last night. But you haven't left
her side." He eyed her, then shook his head. "It's been
quite irritating, to say the least. I made my choice carefully."

"Wha?" Koda was confused. "Oh, Kowai..." Koda smiled slightly.
"Well, carry on." Koda tried not to sound desperate. Come on.
The longer you stay, the more danger! Koda almost wailed aloud.
"Kowai. You seem quite familiar with her." He folded his arms
behind his back amd gave her an apprasing look. "I may have been
wrong after all. But I suppose-" he pressed his lips together. "If
I have come this far, I should share, shouldn't I?"

"Please." Koda said, giving him a leveled stare. Is it about
Kowai? She asked herself with an anticipating twitch. Come
on... Its too dangerous for you!
"WhAT?" Koda snarled at him. NO. I HEARD HIM WRONG, I HEARD HIM
WRONG. She assured herself. Her lip curled. "Did I hear you
right?" She held herself back, but her muscles tensed, ready to
defend herself if he tried anything.
Hisoka blinked. "Is that a no?" He actually looked disappointed. "I
hoped you were up to the task. That's why I roomed you with
her."
Something flickered over his expression. "Why do you care for her?
This isn't about murder, it's abour something else. No-" he peered
at her. "Somethings perhaps. You want to hit me right now.
Becaude of her and something else."

"It's none of your BUISNESS!" Koda shoved him into the wall. "I'm
NOT going to hurt them!" Koda shook her head. "They are my only
friends..." She added softly. Don't lose heart, Koda. He'll
probably get you back. Koda told herself.
Hisoka shifted uncomfortably in her grip, but he continued to gaze
at her calmlyr. "Kowai is one of my only compaions as well." A beat
of silence. His eyes darkened. "I have known her longer than you. I
do not make this decision lightly. But-" his eyes narrowed. "With
that time, I understand her more than you ever could If you
do not take the knife first, she will."
He smiled pleasantly up at her. "How do you feel about that? How do
you feel, not knowing her talent? Not knowing the things she has
planned?" His tone changed, it became more urgent. "Doesn't it
worry you? Frighten you?"

"I don't believe you." Koda growled. "Kowai..." She discontinued.
"I'm not killing anyone!" Koda honestly WISHED she had a knife
there and then, she would have had killed Hisoka then and there.
Hisoka seemed to read her thoughts. "If you killed me, you'd be the
first suspect. You'd be executed right away." His voice had a
slight tremble to it, but he continued to smile at her. "I won't
kill her myself. I still have things here I need to take care of.
People-" he cut himself off. "I suppose this is a no.
Disappointing."
He tugged at the hands encircling his throat. "Will you let me
leave, now?"

Koda stared into his eyes, so close you'd be able to see a
reflection in her eyes. "Don't. Touch. Them." Koda hissed in his
face, and gave him one last push before letting him go and fleeing
faster than a hare on ice.
Suzume, as if in response to Megami's question, moved
closer to her and began cuddling her. It's strange... she'd never
had this before. With anyone. Never had she touched another living
soul so closely...
Never had she felt or heart their breathing, nor their heartbeat.
Never had she seen their eyes, their skin, their hair, so very
close... you could almost count endless fingers, endless strands,
endless highlights within their eyes.
You got lost in the rise and fall of each breath they took.
Suzume had never known something so peaceful before...
Kowai Kurai's POV
Kowai willed herself not to look so shocked, to look in so
much disbelief. But watching that exchange was difficult. She
narrowed her eyes, glaring at Hisoka as he left, her eyes shooting
an angry promise of death.
Hisoka had told her about it, had planted the doubt in her mind.
The last thing she needed was anyone paying attention to that. Was
he TRYING to break their alliance? It seemed he was up to...
something.
And Koda, speaking of her... had been so willing to protect her.
They barely knew each other. Hisoka had made a good point
there.
Deciding to distract from what had happened, Kowai rushed to Koda's
side. "KODA! Are you alright? What happened?" she asked, sounding
as frantic and clueless as she could. "Is everything okay with
Hisoka? I saw you two got into a bit of a fight over
something..."
Femi Davis's POV
Femi, on the other hand, usually a passive Minecraft mob
when it came to acting (XD) rushed over to Hisoka. "H-Hisoka. Is-
everything okay?" he asked shakily. "I heard what you said about
her. About Kowai and Suko. I'm afraid I-" He hesitated a moment,
recalling memories of both of the two in his mind, replaying the
events to himself.
"I'm afraid I don't trust them either. Suko... they seemed
dangerously unstable to me, and so did Kowai. Both of them seem to
be hiding something." A knot curled in his stomach.
But Suko... seemed to actually care about me. And... I don't
think- I've ever had someone like that before...
He took deep breaths, his eyes fixed on the jeweler. "The point
is... I think we can help each other."
