"SUSHI!"

Suko immediately began screaming at the top of their lungs. Hisoka cocked an eyebrow, then nodded approvingly.

"WHAT IS THIS TRAVESTY?"

"I do not dislike sushi."

"MY PANCAKES!"

"Perhaps we will have Eel Sauce?"

"MY PANCAKES NOOOOOO! KEIKI, OUR PANCAKES ARE GONEEE!"

to be aesthetic or not to be aesthetic that is not a question because I am not aesthetic at all and nor is this signature

Keiki started to sob. "NOOOO- MY PANCAKES...MY PANCAKES-" They sobbed. "WHYYYY-" They yelled.

"HOW- HOW COULD THEY DO THIS-

TAKE OUR PANCAKES-

THIS IS A SIN-

A CRIME, EVEN!"

Keiki gasped.

"SUKO I CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT PANCAKES.

Chuku watched them carefully- and snatched a piece of sushi. Her stomach was growling. She quickly unravelled the scarf and keeping one hand over her face, ate the sushi. The scarf fell on the ground.

Suko crumbled to the floor, screaming at the top of their lungs.

Experienced in their ways, Hisoka made his way to the table. He spotted Chuku briefly, nodded a greeting with a slightly raised eyebrow, then served himself a good amount of sushi. He plucked up a set of chopsticks, laid it on the side, and headed for his previous table.

Suko screamed through all this, then burst into a fit of loud coughs.

Hisoka laid a napkin on his lap and broke apart his chopsticks.

Keiki comforted Suko- "It's going to be okay..." They muttered in between sobs.

Chuku contemplated showing her face because she needed someone to talk to.

Suzume stared, wide-eyed at the scene, and then she glanced at Megami, blinking. "Well... that happened. Is there still hot cocoa somewhere? They might have ingredients in the kitchen."

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai shrugged. "Why is everyone complaining? LOOK AT ALL THIS FISH!" She looked over at Chuku and blinked. "Wait, who are you? I don't believe I've seen you before! Hi!!! I'm Kowai!" She reached her hand out. Wow, she looks cute! ...waitwhatthehellwhyamIthinkingthatIdon'tevenknowher

Femi Davis's POV

Femi looked deeply traumatized. He had gone quite still, and was staring at all the sushi in horror. "G-Guess I'm not eating," he stuttered with a laugh, his voice sounding hollow. Look at... look at all these poor fish... who died, just so- just so we could eat.

Tears welled up in his eyes. And it wasn't their being dead and used for this that was the worst part. He had no doubt in his mind, if Monokuma had killed these fish, they had been killed cruelly...

He collapsed onto his knees, all the color seemingly draining from his face.

EMERGENCY EMERGENCY SUZUMEG PRIORITY MUST GET THE DATE
Suzume blushed for some reason, maybe because her cup was so hot? Or maybe... Megami looked so pretty while she made the hot coco- wait what? What did her making it have to do with- making her prettier?

Suzume was about to puzzle over this before realizing they had to get to the library. With her other hand, she took Megami's arm and headed hurriedly off to the library. "I'm ready. Come on!" It was only when they were heading over there she remembered.

She wanted to facepalm, but she couldn't.

SHE FORGOT TO ASK CONSENT AGAIN!

Suzume turned and noticed that Megami was about to bump into a pillar. "MEGAMI! Look ou-" She stopped speaking, and pulled her away from the pillar.
Ohnothingsjustgotmoreawkward , she thought, helping Megami to a chair. Somehow, she managed to not go of her hot choco-

Wait. She did. How did she not hear the clattering?

Suzume sighed. "Oh, well... that's a shame." She slowly set the cup upright. It seemed to be slightly chipped, and the hot chocolate had spilled everywhere, including on Suzume's lab coat. How had she not noticed?!

I frowned slightly, before shrugging. "Here ya go!" I poured half of mine into her cup, making sure to give her most of the marshmallows. "Now then, off to the secret room. I've got a surprise prepared, plus a bunch of different books!"

Suzume felt her face grow flushed, and she looked over at her cup. She'd completely forgotten about the secret room, but that wasn't why her cheeks flooded with color.

Megami had just given her half of her hot chocolate. Okay, congratulations, Fujimori. You just stated a fact inside your mind.

But, maybe it was because... Megami giving her half of her hot chocolate fondly reminded her of something. Silently she remembered when her food had turned out poorly, and Megami had given her hers.

Then she froze, and felt her heart convulse violently, as it had in that dream she'd had. She clutched at it... no, her heart was fine. What had caused this though...

Her memories were seized by Nagisa Aoki's smiling face. How he had smiled, and waited for everyone before she had her own food. How he'd complimented the one who cooked it...

Then turned a sickly purplish-green, and practically choked on his own breath in tears.

The hurt look on her face...

Why did it bother Suzume so much? She hadn't known her.

Or anyone who had died.

Or anyone who had died...

Suzume thought she'd throw up. She took to quivering, but she breathed deeply and set her glasses back in place.

"Thank you, Megami. I really... appreciate this. This time with you."

She acted as though nothing had ever happened.

Oh, so will that help you forget them? the voice in her mind asked. You killed them.

I tried to think of a response, but nothing came to mind. Eventually I decided on something simple. "I am too." After pulling a book out and pressing a button behind it, I watched the bookcase slide partially open, closing once we were inside. I looked around, eventually eyeing my guitar. I was reluctant to let go of her hand, but eventually I did so I could pick up my guitar. "Are you ready for your surprise?"

And then she felt Megami pull her into the secret room, and let go of her hand.
She swore she'd lose it right then...

Upon hearing what Megami said, she merely nodded. "You... play guitar, Megami?"

"Well-' I felt my face heat up. "Yeah, I play a bit. It's sort of a hobby, I developed it when I got into songwriting so that I could play my songs how I want them to be. Of course, I'm not very good at either songwriting or guitar, so sorry if this isn't the best. I wrote this song during this game, it was and is meant for you, sorry in advance in case it isn't very good." I took a deep breath and played a few slow chords, before launching into a slow strumming pattern.

You'd be gone"

I switched, now going slightly more complicated by switching back and forth between chords each line.

I started strumming faster, now doing a three chord pattern.

"But do you want me too
I lay awake and wonder

I switched back to my initial, slow pattern.

I’ll say no cuz if you knew
You’d be gone"

I dragged out the last word, before exhaling and opening my eyes.

Title: Suzume took the BBCode to express her amazement at her gf

Suzume Fujimori was hushed into silence. You could've heard a speck of dust drop (somehow). She just stared at Megami in silence and disbelief, setting her mug down and cupping her hands to her mouth to prevent herself from gasping out loud. Some of the gasp still escaped, however.

She paced back and forth a few moments, tapping her stained lab coat with her fingers. Finally, she managed to find the words. "Megami. I don't think you know this, but..." She inhaled.

"That was freaking amazing." The words came out so uncharacteristically quietly, but not in the typical semi-monotone voice Suzume usually used. The words came out so softly and sweetly, almost melodically. Like she'd never spoken to anyone this way before.

She couldn't find the words for how she felt for Megami in that moment. All she could do was look at her... and just- admire her.

She's been working on this song so long, for me?...

Suzume smiled shyly over at Megami. "You're welcome." She slowly sipped the hot cocoa. She paused and looked over at Megami next to her.

"Do you remember that time at the cafeteria, when you gave me your plate?" she asked suddenly. "You giving me half of your hot cocoa... it reminded me of that. At the time, I thought you wanted something from me. Or... you just pitied me. Do you..." she hesitated- "Recall what was going through your mind?"

Suzume turned bright red and jolted. "You mean... you liked me even back then?" she asked quietly. She'd had no idea... that entire time, all she was thinking of was what she thought of Megami.

Not what Megami might've felt. "Megami, I... had no idea. I'm pretty sure you're the very first person to- have liked me in such a way."
