Keiki was already dressed, in white shirt with collar, and black
trousers. "I look so smart." Keiki announced proudly. It turn out
that instead of sleeping, Keiki had done their nails instead.
Black, instead of the usual red, to compliment their trouser.
"Alright, Niwa- you're coming with me." Keiki muttered. "Oh- Chuku
as well. Can't leave anyone behind, can we?"
"Buuut- if any of you steal my pancakes you're getting pushed in
the sea!" They grinned and walked off.
Chuku smiled. These people seemed friendly, Niwa and Keiki. She
hoped they'd stay like that.
"Alrighty then." She whispered. "Niwa-? You can follow Keiki if you
want- I'll just get dressed.
Niwa blinked and nodded. "Sure," he whispered back. "Don't take too
long, though. Keiki might get feisty if they don't get their
pancakes." He winked and hurried after Keiki.
He slowed to their side. "Your nails look nice," he said bashfully,
ducking his head. "I like them- a lot. Does it take a while to do,
or...?"

Niwa burst out laughing. "Okay, okay," he said in between chuckles.
"You got me! You'll get your pancakes, gloriously-nailed Keiki!"
Niwa hummed a cheerful tune under his breath, beaming wildly at
Keiki.
He seemed to be in a good mood. Perhaps this trip was having a
positive psychological effect after all.

"They're decent," Niwa agreed. He gazed at Keiki with the happiest
expression on his face. He looked like a lovesick schoolboy- which
in a way, he was. "Do you want to get some?" He asked, tearing his
eyes away from Keiki who was happily serving themself the
overfluffed pancakes.
Hisoka and the Ultimate Magician were sitting next to each other.
Was that Femi, looking down at both of them? What an odd
combination.

"No!" Niwa was on his feet. Then he tripped over a rock and passed
out on the sand.
"Bothering people! Dodoododo!~" Suko singsonged as they came around
the bend. They paused midstep. "The frig?" Monstrrbrat was
apparently unconscious or dead. Some girl they'd never seen before
was wearinf a scarf to the beach.
And was that Greeneyes who was drowning???
Suko debated the ethics of high-tailing it out of there before any
of them saw them.

Ah, screw it. Suko could be a badass for once. "Hold on!" They
called, hurrying to the water. They knotted their scarf tightly,
then dove in after Keiki-
Only to discover the water was ankle-height.
"Oh come on," Suko complained. They grabbed Keiki's arm and tugged
them out, smacking then down on the sand. Then they flopped next to
them.

"Sounds great!" Suko gave a thumbsup. "Let me know when you need
help hiding a body! Puhuhu-" their face rewrote itself. "Oh god, I
hate that bear's laugh."
Niwa was coming around (for the second time). He stirred, blinking
through waves of hair at Keiki and Chuku. "Eh..?"
