"Yes," Hisoka mused. "There're so many factors... It might be difficult to determine just which are true and which are false leads." He drummed his knuckles on his podium. "By the presence of the knife and the poison in... 'his' bag, we can presume that the killer intended to implicate our dear Ultimate Magician."
"Eh?" Niwa perked up. "Why the knife?"
"Well, it didn't quite fit in with the other clues. Didn't ring quite true. I presume it was a poor attempt to act as a frame for him- one of the few people who would've had early access to the Ultimate Labs and any weapons they may contain. Although-" he hesitated. "I may be wrong and it may have served another purpose."
"He said it was because of the knife wounds," Suko pointed out. "Like, y'know, in the Monokuma files?"
"The knife was clean. There was no blood on it, nor any reason to wash it off."
Niwa Atsushi
He should be focusing. He should be debating with Hisoka, tearing past lies and deception and finding the truth to save their lives-
But all he could see was Keiki, head in hands. Picture tears streaming down that strong, smiling face- (since when had he thought they were beautiful?) and feel a pang of guilt in his heart. Poor, innocent Keiki, seeing nothing but- the horrors of everything.
"Keiki," he said softly. "Are you alright?"
He regretted the words. They drew Hisoka's attention. But he had to speak. He had to ask.
Third Person POV
"Okay." Niwa nodded. He attempted a smile. "I understand. I- we can discuss after." He turned back to Hisoka. Hisoka had a thoughtful look on his face. But the deepening of his frown and the wrinkles in his forehead suggested some angrier emotion were rising to the surface. "Do you have any theories, Hisoka?"
"Ah- no, I don't. But perhaps we should try and look at alibis. Or discuss the poisons that we found. Those would be two valid standpoints to begin on."
Hisoka Yamanaku
That cupcake, though. Why was the killer trying so hard to get rid of it?
Was it possibly the murder weapon-? No, that would negate everything... It didn't make sense in the slightest. What sort of importance could it have held? Surely not...
"Well, let's discuss who left their resident areas and who failed to attend events. Please don't leave anyone out." He let a threat linger on his words.
"Both Niwa and Keiki left," Suko spoke up. "Perhaps they're both in on it. Partners in crime, the queer Bonnie and Clyde." They grinned. Hisoka found himself highly annoyed at that expression.
"That would be an excessively foolish thing to do, but I'll keep it in mind. I, myself left early from the motive's room- and without a clear time of death, have little alibi. Anyone else?"
"Redmonda left for the washroom..." Niwa looked uncertain. "And Ma- er, the Ultimate Magician didn't attend either... from what I know. Suko was kinda iffy on the whole thing."
Title: 3rd Person
"If everything comes crashing down
I pray that you'll still be around
I'll sing to you to mask the sound
Of missiles breaking up the ground"
Buraddo vouched for himself. "I was at the pool, though I had little time to swim since I needed to find a gender-neutral bathroom to change in."
Magic Man spoke up. "I was investigating my Ultimate Lab. It wasn't much, this school doesn't seem to have much dirt on me."
Third Person POV
Niwa coughed a little. His face was characteristically tomatoesc. "Well, I- I'm not particularly looking to sacrifice my or Keiki's lives to get out of this school, so um.. I'd knock that out of range of possibility."
Suko smirked. Niwa got the feeling he'd regret speaking. "Ohohoho? You didn't seem very interested until 'Keiki' happened to speak up. Calling 'em by their first name, now are we~?"
Hisoka intervened for what was probably the best for both Niwa and Suko's health (Niwa was probably running out of blood in every region beside his face, and Suko was probably close to being stabbed by Keiki at least twelve separate times). "Now isn't the time for theories. Right now, we need to figure out different alibis and the meanings behind the clues we discovered."
"Like the cupcake?" Amano asked, who had remarkably escaped his traumatized state to intervene between Kiwi romantic drama.
"Yes, like the cupcake." Hisoka's eyes flashed with gratitude. "We need to understand the importance of the clues." He patted his wet hair down. "Perhaps we should begin with the poisons. I read the labels on both. Suzume's appears to be a kind of cyanide. And the Ultimate Magicians a 'hydrogen sulfide'."
Third Person POV
Suko stuck out their tongue at Keiki. "Nyaaahhh," they hissed.
Hisoka turned to face Keiki as well, almost lazily. "I saw you in the halls. You must've left to be there, correct? It's certainly not in the pool area- and it's also certainly right next to the kitchen."
Spots of hard colour were appearing in Niwa's face. "Look, we've got alibis. Megami's right. Suzume," he turned to her. "You got the importance of those poisons? Recognize them? Because seriously, we don't have time for this right now."
"That's right! Time ticks down fast! 10 minutes left, 5 minutes left, 2 minutes left- Then you realize you've got 10 more assignments due and have to stay up for the rest of the night! Puhuhuhuhu~"
Niwa's eyebrows twitched. He continued staring at Suzume.
Suzume Fujimori's POV
"Does that add up? Or could the poison have been something else?..."
Suzume paused to think about it. Had the oven had anything to do with the death, somehow?... No... what could it have been?

"Femi's alive!" Suko gasped. "I can't believe it!" But Hisoka wasn't listening to their nonsense. He was reflecting on the words.
Drink poison... suicide... drink poison...
"Hm. Carbon monoxide. That'd certainly cover the holes in the theory. But I believe the room wasn't closed off. It was free-flowing- and any sensible girl would've left if she noticed an excess of smoke." Not that Hisoka knew too much about cooking, considering she had done the most of it but still- "It might be a good starting point. Wondering the way that she was poisoned, if we're going with that theory. Breathing in, ingesting, direct drinking... It might lead to some clues in the case, especially since the cause of death remains so mysterious."
Suzume Fujimori's POV
"As long as they could get the stove to produce Carbon Monoxide, that would be enough."
"Maybe," Suzume responded to Megami. "But... what if they needed to kill her quickly? So no one would find out?" she proposed.
She considered what Kowai had said as well. "It is most important to figure out who did it. But, the cause and circumstances of death might be able to point us in the right direction."
Well. Okay, Suko. It was a relief Femi was alive, of course. But, that wasn't important to the case right now.
She turned to Hisoka, who presented the most puzzling factor of all. "But is there any way we can figure out how the poison killed her?"
Kowai Kurai's POV
If we focus too much on how the poison was taken in, we MIGHT ALL GET KILLED, YOU IDIOTIC GOOD-FOR-NOTHING FOOLS!
They weren't completely wrong though... still.
