Danganronpa Roleplay [PRIVATE]
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → Danganronpa Roleplay [PRIVATE]Their eyebrows furrowed, noticing Niwa's sleepy and sad state. Keiki raised a hand, gripping Niwa, in hopes of helping them stay up.
"It'll be okay." They said, quietly. Keiki's green eyes dulled in colour. They too, weren't feeling too good.
"I-" Promise-?"...make sure things will go well." Keiki gave a sad smile.
"But we'll have fun, won't we-? We'll try to at least. I hope that- I hope that something will come out of this hell-hole-"
They sighed.
....
I hate that bear.
Keiki rolled their eyes.
They listened in to the other speaking.
"I'm going to guess we won't have an easy time finding the bullet board."
Keiki groaned, seriously-?
But their thoughts were instantly interrupted by a Suko yelling-
"It's over here!"
Keiki blinked. I guess it was in plain sight after all. Um-
They glanced at Suko's way, sighing.
Third Person POV
Sure enough, the bulletin board was in clear sight, tacked to the wall opposite them. Suko stood in front of it. A frown was on their face as they peered at something...
In a flash, their hand had darted up, and a glimpse of white was shoved into their pocket. They turned around, a proud grin on their face. "Feast your eyes!" They threw up their hands. "The o' great bulletin board which dictates our life in accordance to that murderous bear's whimsy!"
Niwa pulled free from Keiki and started for it. After a moment of hesitation, Amano followed.
Amano stopped.
Niwa stared.
"What is it?" Hisoka asked. As soon as it came into sight, he too, stopped, but with a curse. "God dammit-"
They grimaced.
Oh shoot- crap, crap...crap.
Keiki peered nervously at the billboard.
Yep, there they saw it. Everyone's secret phrase. Even theirs.
This killing game must make your heart skip a beat. I wonder when else it does. Or perhaps, when it doesn't.....
"Despite what you say." Keiki finished off, whispering.
Their eyes dropped to the ground.
Keiki was as white as a sheet.
Third Person POV
Niwa gripped their arm. Their face showed no emotion. A few words from you could turn black to white.
Amano. Poor as a Church's Mouse. Did you "store" enough windfall for winter?
Hisoka. A precious pearl lost in a cloud of sycophants. Will you jump and splatter, or linger and be absorbed?
Chika. You're all in hot water, here. For Chika, however, it might have more to do with "cold".
Even the late Chika.
Hisoka's teeth ground together. "Foolishness," he dismissed coldly. "Utter foolishness." But around the room, various people had lost shades of colour in their faces.
Niwa had gone utterly rigid.
Suzume Fujimori's POV
Slowly, her eyes traveled across the board, scanning everyone’s secrets, and pondering what they could possibly mean. Slowly, reluctantly, her eyes made their way to hers…
You hit the jackpot in your life, but most people barely even end up a cog in the machine. Tell me, just how much is one willing to sacrifice to get to the top?
Well… that was… rather long. Suzume Fujimori started shaking and curled her fingers into tight fists. Hers might’ve seemed rather vague… it could’ve pointed to any number of things. But- she knew- exactly what it was referring to.
“What is this?” she murmured, trying to hide her shaky hands. “How… do they have this on us? How could they have known?...”
But how… how could they have known?
Femi Davis’s POV
Like a lamb to the slaughter. But could you have been both the lamb and the wolf?
“...O-Oh- so… that’s it? Th-th-that’s- that’s the secret… then… wh-wh-why is this- why is this- happening?” Calm down, calm down!!! They- might not realize… everyone else’s secrets are up there too…
Kowai Kurai’s POV
How much fuel can you add to the fire until everything goes up in smoke? And really, smoke can only hide so much…
So, that was what it was then.
“Soooo- um, these- these secrets aren’t real, right?” Kowai laughed. “I- mean, how would they get all of these on us, anyway, right everyone?” She tried to smile reassuringly at all of them. This could be quite problematic, indeed…
She narrowed her eyes. Secrets here for all of them. Including herself. Of course there had to be, that would be how it's work... Right?
Third-Person POV
Suzume pondered over Nagisa’s secret and wondered what it could mean. She also wondered if Nagisa would’ve been terrified for someone to find out about it… or would The Ultimate Romantic have shared that openly? She’d never know.
However, she did find herself drawn to Megami’s secret, perhaps to distract herself from her own. “Poor receiver, familiar history shall bring due justice.” …
What could it possibly mean? She wanted to approach Megami about it, but she certainly would most likely not be comfortable with sharing it. Especially not in front of so many people.
Suzume inhaled and exhaled deeply, once more. Alright. “So… everyone. I’m not the one in charge here, and I’m not going to act like I am.” She crossed her arms, her face deep in thought. “But- considering our situation, we need to decide what to do about it. Do we keep our secrets to ourselves? There would be potential for that to tear us apart. However, another issue is that some people might kill each other upon learning each other’s secrets… either way, this seems most difficult. Maybe the best course of action would be to not tell one another our secrets and to not wonder about anyone else’s. Otherwise… we might be driven to kill each other.”
She found her logic on this made sense… but… what if this idea caused more problems? “Thoughts, everyone?”
Femi Davis forced himself to stabilize. This was okay, this was okay… I mean… no one would- be crazy enough to kill each other over this, right? RIGHT? Nonono… he didn’t know these people!! But… he decided to make a suggestion of his own-
“There’s… 16 of us left, right? What if we always made sure that people were- at least in- groups of four? Th-that way, everyone’s less likely to get killed. B-Besides!! None of you- would- kill someone over just- some- secret on this board, right?” Oh, come on. He knew no one here well enough to be certain of that.
Suzume nodded. “That might be a good idea, at least, I think so. What do you all think?” She turned to look at Megami, Keiki, Hisoka, Nakata, Buraddo, and… everyone else. Everyone seemed quite shaken by what was on the board, unsurprisingly…
Kowai knew exactly what Hisoka's secret meant. What fascinating, superfluous wording. She also scanned the other secrets… Niwa’s stood out to her. It seemed rather brief, and, my, my. Like it could mean many different thi-
Oh, I think I might know what that's about...
She caught something of what Suzume was saying. “Huh? But why can’t we all share our secrets with each other?” she asked, puzzled.
Suzume sighed. “Well… there’s- also potential for that to go wrong. But thank you for sharing your opinion on it. So… in that case, would you be willing to share the meaning behind yours?”
Kowai’s face formed a pout. “Only if everyone else will! Otherwise, it doesn’t sound fair!”
Suzume narrowed her eyes. “...Right. Well then. Everyone… your thoughts?”
Femi was most definitely not willing to share his... he'd... he'd rather...

"Everything is going to be okay."
I shook, rereading mine despite knowing exactly what it meant. "I- I can't..." i'm sorry. Tears plagued my eye sockets as I held my emotion back. I have to. I can't let it happen again.
Buraddo Jemu
So, this place knows. I can't believe I- No, I can't sit here pitying myself. I decided to speak up. "I'm willing to share mine, but I won't be able to give all the details." I took a deep breath.
Majikaruman Dōseiai-shadearimasu
This is it? I suppose it could be worse. "Considering the circumstances, I too am willing to share." I looked at mine with a hint of curiosity.
Suko Nobu
Suko knew exactly what their secret meant. They could recall every single word of it, even from its crumbled place in the back of their pocket. Every word had been accompanied by a chill they could never erase from their memory.
Does a spoonful of sugar help your poison go down?
Did it?
Suko felt their tongue drying up.
If anyone knew... if anyone knew...
How could they be Suko Nobu anymore?
How could they stay the Ultimate Gunman?
Hisoka Yamanaku
They can't interpret it, they can't interpret it, they can't- Hisoka cut off his line of thought. That was all irrelevant. All that mattered was a convincing lie to the rest of them.
But for the first time in his life, Hisoka couldn't find the honeyed words. they slipped off his tongue, dripping down to the back of his throat and crawling there, choking him, reminding him of the pain, of the fear, of the judgement-
"It seems they were all designed to be very clear- to the person with the secret." Hisoka's eyes narrowed. Distract. "I agree we should all share. Some of them seem very dangerous." He cast a significant glance at Femi's paled form. "It would be otherwise, quite risky."
"Makes sense." Amano's gaze still had that distant look. He wasn't looking at the secrets. "And... after, the... play?"
"Yes. I suppose so." Niwa clenched at the folds of his shirt. He looked on the edge of a panic attack, but managed a small, scared smile.
"I ALREADY SAID I- Oh, oh god." I flinched at my outburst. "I- I gotta go." I ran off, tears plagueing my eyes.
Buraddo Jemu
"Megami!" I took off after her, but my lack of athleticism finally caught up and I keeled over panting quickly.
Majikaruman Dōseiai-shadearimasu
I observed the situation, curious what could be so bad as to make her burst out.
Third Person POV
Momentarily distracted, Hisoka peered after her. "That seems like an overreaction," he commented. "Is her secret so important to her?" His eyes narrowed with interest. "Perhaps..."
Suko started after her, vanishing from sight around the corner a moment later. That was over, presumably.
"My secret..." Niwa shuffled his feet a bit. "Well... It relates to how my talent is... Well, how I may have... Uhm..."
"You're not the Ultimate Swordsmaster," Hisoka drawled, casting his piercing gaze on Niwa. The shorter winced, somehow becoming smaller. "You're something else, I suppose?"
"Yes," he said softly. "The Ultimate Poet."
"That fits." Hisoka turned to Buraddo. "You. And if you know it, your little 'friend's'. The runaway." He gave a derisive snort, but there was an intensity in his eyes.
Suko Nobu
"Hey!" they called. "Heyhey! Scaredy-girl! Whatcha doing? It's secrets sharing time, right now, y'know? They're gonna suspect the hell out of your ass if you're not there!"
Third Person POV
Amano's eyes snapped up. For a long moment he stared at Buraddo.
"You two are quite close," Hisoka observed. "Are you certain?" There was a mocking note in his voice.
"Of course she is." Amano shrugged. "She has no reason to share her own and not Megami's." The light promptly vanished from his eyes again and he stared down at his feet.
"They could be trying to protect her," Hisoka said back, bitingly. But Amano didn't reply, so Hisoka scoffed and turned to Buraddo. "Your secret is very vague. But for now, I'll believe you."
Then he turned to face Amano. "You?"
Amano didn't lift his gaze. "...I don't like mice very much."
Hisoka's eyes narrowed. "Of course." He glanced at Femi. "Yours, sheep-boy?"
Suko Nobu
"Hey, don't ignore me-" They reached for the fleeing girl's shoulder-
Suko Nobu
Suko gave a yelp. Hey, what's this kid's deal? With a dive, they lunged to catch her.
Unfortunately, they vastly overestimated their arm strength, and both of them crashed to the floor.
Suko was pinned beneath her arm. With a hiss, they pushed her off, clambering into a sitting position. "Ow! Ow, that hurt! You jerk-" He sniffled loudly. "What was that for?"
“Well I think we should just go and get the whole weird robot show over with” She spoke loudly, though it was likely no one was listening to her. But they should be! I’m going to be saving them all! They should be grateful! She thought.
Amano Tetsuo
Nakata... Nakata...
How was that Nakata speaking?
Amano blinked, attempting to see past the waves. They threw themselves at him, stinging his eyes with saltwater. He couldn't breathe on the water-
"Nakata... We need to get to the show." His hand traced patterns on the fabric of his shirt. "Show... right... we'll be safe there. We won't drown."
Suzume Fujimori's POV
Femi Davis's POV
Kowai Kurai's POV
"S-So there! Now... now you know my horrible secret..." We all know there's more to the story than that.
She glanced in Niwa's direction.
