"Well, while I was exploring on the first day I found a storage hatch in a closet that lead into the walls, likely for plumbing work. It goes all around the school, so the murderer could've been listening from there."
Third Person POV
Hisoka breathed out.
"That's it, then."
Amano glanced at him.
"The wall by my- former dorm. They're hollow. I heard something moving around there- I suspected a hidden room, but a secret passageway- wrapping the school-" he paused. "Something of that magnitude. The killer would've had free reign."
"They must be very old too," Amano said softly.
"That's a little off-topic." Suko smirked. "Mind elaborating, Amano?"
Amano didn't reply. He just looked at his hands.
Chika Tsukamoto
...
...
...
Chika'd been alone all her life. Her prickliness and biting tongue had driven other children away from her at a young age. At a time, it delighted her. How she could make her mark on people in such a way. People would flee from her, duck when she looked at them. And slowly, she came to realize that more than ever, she'd never touched people less.
The same thing had happened when she'd come to this academy. The Ultimate Author- she could've played into that persona. Been happy.
But from the moment she'd seen Hisoka's smug face, she'd realized something.
This wasn't a safe place for her.
This was a place where she was recognized.
And she would have to be alone again. She could never take back words from 10 years ago- back when she'd been a truly prickly, smug child. And yet, she still hoped, deep down, that perhaps, out of all these people, she might make a single friend out of one of them-
And then that horrible bear's smile emerged and an understanding had come over her.
She was not destined to be friends with others. She was destined to be a wedge- driving in between people, cutting relationships cleanly down the middle. She was to be alone her whole life- for only misfortune and distrust would follow her.
She'd determined to isolate herself.
So while people discussed and whined, she'd slipped off, intending to find her dorm to barricade it.
But in the hall, the bear had popped up. He'd offered to show her something- something that might drive her to murder.
Chika had never fancied herself a good person. Of course her curiosity won out.
The tunnels held the perfect method. Her inner writer whispered to her, begged her to make the perfect case. Find the other's secrets and put it against them, escape masterfully and alone as she always did.
But her moral compass held firm, until the bear had shown her what was past a hidden door inside of the gloom of the secret tunnels.
Crack-
It shattered to bits, casting its glass shards all over her hands. Staining them with blood from a person she would never know- or even touch.
Watching from across the cafeteria- knowing that one of those tabled people were about to collapse, clutching their throat- her heart had never beat faster. Fearing that someone would realize she'd only cooked for herself. Fearing someone might call her out on the jar of oilless peanut butter which hid under her bed.
Fearing that Amano's witness of her returning with that full jar to her dorm the night before Nagisa collapsed.
At first, she'd been relieved. No one was listening. Every word she spoke was taken correctly. People were being guided down the wrong road, accusing the wrong people.
But something went wrong.
Somehow her words turned against her. Somehow they manipulated what she'd said to find the truth.
And just now, Amano Tetsuo was about to reveal the truth which would incriminate her once and for all.
For a moment she considered killing him. It wouldn't be too hard. At least she'd bring someone with her, someone whom she hated very much.
But she was also very, very tired of all this lying. All this manipulating. All this: listen to the wrong points, don't listen to them, you're a fool, you're a fool, they're going to realize I'm not and that I must be it-
And so she spoke the words herself.
Spoke the truth for the first time in ten years.
"I killed Nagisa Aoki."
"Ohh- snap." Was all they said. Keiki stared at Chika, in disbelief.
well that was anti-climactic wasn't it-?
i was expecting some more drama- scooby-doo type crap- where they unmask the killer.
i guess this is all we get. at least we solved it- kinda...
Keiki clapped their hands together.
"I guess this is it then."

Why?
Why did Amano have that horribly guilty look on his face?
Why couldn't it have been him?
Why did it have to be Chika, chin raised, eyes flashing as she embraced death that was imminent-
"Why?" he asked quietly. None of those questions were asked. "Why are you admitting it?"
"Amano knew," was her reply. "I was to be caught anyway. 'S not like I had a chance anyway."
"I saw her," Amano said quietly. "Shortly before nighttime. She was all... all dusty. It didn't make sense to me. The halls were clean. And she doesn't strike me as the type to... roll around in the dust." He cast an odd look at Suko who smirked back. "It finally makes sense."
"I killed Nagisa Aoki. I received my motive in my Ultimate Lab, and decided it was enough to kill for. That's all there is to this case." Chika looked away, her arms crossed. "It didn't matter to me who it was. Just being able to was.. enough."

Third Person POV
Chika bit her lip and looked away. Her face scrunched up as if she were holding back tears. But her voice was cool, and hostile. "You'll find out soon enough. After this murder, I assume you'll all go to your Ultimate Labs. And with it, find the things which will drive each and every one of you here to the same thing as me."
She cast her cool gaze on Kowai. "And some, more than others likely don't even need them, I suspect."
Hisoka's hands clenched into fists.
Amano looked lost and sad. His shoulders were slumped, completely unlike the usually excitable teenager.
"But... what happened?" Suko asked. Their voice cracked, even behind their smirk. They tried again. "Like, uh, seriously- how did this happen? I still don't understand- Chika killed them... but like, more than why, how?"
"I think I can summarise all of this." Keiki announced.
They cleared their throat.
"Ahem. So...Early on, the killer, Chika, probably split off from everyone. They were alone.
In doing so, Chika probably discovered the secret passageways in the walls that Megami and Magic-person also found.
Through this passageway, as we heard, you can reach the ultimate labs. Each lab contains a motive, like she said. When Chika read hers, she made her move. She went into secret passageways in the walls, and in doing so, found her way to the dorms. Chika was there with Hisoka, Megami, and Amano's groups, during the day.
And then Monokuma's special midday message played during the day. This droned out most of the conversation, but she overheard key points. Like that a student, (the victime) had a serious allergy to peanuts. I doubt Hisoka or Kowai would've said something.
So Chika probably narrowed it down to Amano's group. And with it, she realized who she would kill. So-! She probably snuck out shortly before bedtime, and retrieved a bottle of peanut butter. And probably emptied the oil out into another container or something. Then she would return to her dorm.
And so next morning, they could put their plan into action. Chika was chosen for the kitchen, so she was able to poison the food. That's why she was less busy. She would sit back, relax, and watch Nagisa...drop. Down. Dead."
Keiki clapped their hands together. They looked solemn.
"The end."
“You killed on of you’re own classmates for some silly lab?!” She cried. She could’ve been a hero like Nakata would soon be!
Narrator
Silence came at those words.
At last, Hisoka spoke.
"Monokuma. I believe we are ready to vote." Silently, he switched his dial- set in the first 5 minutes of the trial- from Amano Tetsuo's icon to Chika Tsukamoto's.
"Oooh! Are you sure? You've discovered allllll you want to know about this case and the Blackened?"
"We understand all we need to," Hisoka replied. His pain-filled eyes met Amano's.
Chika was silent.
"Don't mind me~" Suko voted for themself.
Niwa tapped Chika's icon and yanked down the lever.
Amano silently put in his vote.
Chika voted for Keiki, pain building in a storm behind her eyes.
Hisoka pulled the lever, voting for Chika.
Third-Person POV, because I'm too lazy to write separate POVs in this situation
Oh, no, no, no, she certainly wouldn't want to kill anybody! That'd be so sad. So, so sad.

Ding ding ding!
"You were correct! The Blackened hiding among you... the dastardly killer of Nagisa Aoki- was Chika Tsukamoto!"
Hisoka clenched his fist.
Amano gazed out over the students, not even seeming to notice they were there.
"Well, that's it, then," Chika said softly. "I killed her and I get executed now." Something glittered in her eyes. Tears? Regret? Fear? None of those released themselves, even if they were there. "I'm sorry."
Suzume Fujimori's POV
What had driven her... to do that?
Kowai Kurai's POV
Let's see how she's going to die. Kowai, secretly, for only a moment, let her eyes flick over to see Hisoka's frustrated expression. Ha! He'd really thought it was Amano.
Femi Davis's POV
But Femi couldn't judge someone for being so emotional. He would've been, if Chika had been someone he knew. He still felt really bad... but somehow... he couldn't bring himself to cry. All he was doing, was... strangely, he found himself, absolutely still.
He glanced over at Keiki, and then at Chika. He decided to say the decent thing to say... that... Keiki had just said.
"Goodbye, Chika. I- didn't know you, but... I don't- think you deserve to die. I..."
He didn't know what else to say... what could he say?
