Danganronpa Roleplay [PRIVATE]
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → Danganronpa Roleplay [PRIVATE]She paused.
"If you would, of course. Say it, I mean."
Asahi pondered.
"I'll tell you mine, first. It depends....which one?"
She laughed.
"You'll know all of them eventually..."
Asahi sighed.
. . .
"Asahi. Does that name ring a bell, to you....Hisoka?"
Hisoka Yamanaku
"Of course." He wondered what she meant by that. "Asahi," he repeated. Something dark and creeping started in his chest. "Asahi..."
Why was Chuku saying that name?
Was it-
Oh.
His eyes widened.
Chuku, Chuku Mitsue.
When had he started calling her Chuku?
And now that he thought of it... "Asahi," he said slowly. "Asahi Mitsue."
Hisoka Yamanaku
"So it's you. Not your sister." He paused. "That was my first impression. I- I apologize for that. It's a little surprising to me, your talent being what it is."
That's why she covers her face, maybe? So she's not recognized?
"It must be uncomfortable for you to be in public," he said quietly.
Hisoka Yamanaku
Hisoka cocked an eyebrow. "So... your talent is different from how you presented it? Or..." He realized. "You're not the Ultimate Librarian. The Ultimate Model then? Like Niwa's secret?"
She checked to see if Niwa was within earshot, but he was busy flirting with Keiki. As per usual.
"Ultimate...."
Asahi stopped herself. Her insides felt twisted and funny. The word was wrapped around her tongue, constricting her throat. She couldn't say it. She wouldn't say it. Her mouth tasted rancid.
"...
G-"
She swore.
"Goddess. There. Goddess. Ultimate Goddess."
The feeling suddenly vanished. For the first time in a long while...she felt free.
Asahi Mitsue was free.
Hisoka Yamanaku
"Ultimate Goddess." He tried the words on his tongue. How... odd. Powerful, like the bear liked. She fit in with the rest of them. "That makes sense."
There was always something off about their talents. How quiet it all was.
Ultimate Poet.
Ultimate Jeweller.
Ultimate Goddess.
There was the missing piece to the puzzle. Everything fit now. It was all there. Hisoka closed his eyes, and tried it on his tongue one more time. "Ultimate Goddess."
"Yep."
She gestured to the scarf. "Now you see why....yeah. The others would realise it in an instant, and I think of it as a...weakness. There can't be weakness in the Killing Games. The weak die. The strong live. That's what happens.
...
That's what should happen."
Hisoka Yamanaku
Something solidified in Hisoka. "Should they?" he asked calmly. "Because from my perspective, those who chose to live by that mentality were those who are no longer with us."
The strong have left us. We are what is left.
"Do you think I am strong, Asahi? Chuku? Whichever you prefer, I ask you. Do you think I'm strong? Stronger than you and your scarf?"
Hisoka Yamanaku
He laughed, dryly. "I think we both know that wasn't the answer I was looking for. You know it as well as I do- we all came here with secrets that the bear holds over our heads. You're not the only one who thinks they're weak."
Hisoka Yamanaku
"Threaten me, then ask for my secrets." Hisoka wrinkled his nose in amusement. "That's bold of you. But I suppose that I owe you, by now?"
He sighed.
"Bother. You want the secret the bear holds over my head, don't you?"
Hisoka Yamanaku
"I have monophobia," he deadpanned. "My father used to lock me in a closet when I was a child. Whenever I'm alone, especially in dark rooms, I am at risk for a panic attack."
He paused.
"That is my secret."
Hisoka Yamanaku
"It's fine. I'm here now, aren't I?" But even the memories brought back the feeling of fear. Pounding terror starting in his skull. A desperation to have a warm hand in his.
His sister's face, the one person who would bring him out.
"If there's one thing I miss, it'd be my sister." He bit his lip. He should not have said that.
Suzume Fujimori's POV
There'd be time for reflecting on what she'd discovered in the morning... if she lived, that was.
If she lived...
Is there really a guarantee any of us will see tomorrow?
She turned to those else in the room. "I'm heading back to... my dorm," she told them hesitantly. She still wasn't used to the fact Megami wasn't there anymore...
But she found herself going somewhere else. Namely... the library.
She began to pore through the various books there, seeing if there was anything strange she could find. She couldn't help but remember the note being left for Femi in the library by Kowai, all those days ago...
Come on, there had to be SOMETHING here.
Maybe she could ask Hisoka. He might know something.
