Amano was shaking. Rapid, earth-shattering shudders, all running up along him. He swallowed- and then he nearly collapsed onto his podium. "I-I mean-"
"It all makes sense," Chika growled. "He was plotting this from the very beginning." Her eyes narrowed in hatred. "He saw a chance to kill and he took it. He played up the nice guy angle and used that to kill Nagisa. No wonder she looked like that."
"I know how she was killed," Niwa piped up softly. He wrang his hands together as Chika and Hisoka's attention turned to him. "We... discussed it earlier. She had a peanut allergy. The killer... must not have been able to resist." He deliberately didn't look at Amano.
Amano's head snapped up and he stared at all of them.
"I didn't kill her," he breathed. "You have to believe me, I didn't kill her!"
Keiki fidgeted nervously with their hands. "Uh- who's this...Amano person, Niwa-?" They whispered, looking around. "Niwa sweetie- do you agree with what the others are saying-? I mean, I don't want to get this wrong..." They shuddered.
Keiki looked up. "Peanuts-?" They whispered to themselves. "Allergy- oh....OH...they- that might-" Keiki's eyes widened.

"Everything is going to be okay."
Niwa Atsushi
Niwa averted his eyes. What can I say? "I don't know," he said gruffly. "I don't know." He could feel Amano's eyes on his back, filled with disbelief and anger.
"How can you all accuse me of-" He paused.
Laughter.
Kowai was laughing.
Even Suko looked unnerved.
"What is it? What the hell are you on?" Amano demanded. Niwa shuddered. He'd never seen such a dark look in the elder's eyes... "Why're you laughing?"
"I'd like to know that too," Hisoka cut in. He shifted uneasily. He regrets speaking, Niwa thought. The fact that another person shared a similar mask to his did not make him feel very happy. Kowai, what're you doing...?

"Everything is going to be okay."
"Ohhh snap- she did something-" Keiki muttered. "...but what-?" They glared at the unfamiliar student. Keiki felt uneasy, staring at the potential killer.
They shuddered, hearing the laughter. "Stop...stop laughing-" Keiki muttered. " 'S not funny. Not funny."
Keiki just wanted this to be over with. They didn't want to be here anymore. They were terrified.
...
Keiki frowned. Peanut oil-? They groaned.
"My brain hurts already..." They whispered to themselves.
Hisoka Yamanaku
All three... eh? Hisoka's eyes narrowed as he concentrated. Well, yes. Niwa had stated as such earlier. And that detail didn't make sense for some reason?
Kowai's smile was so big. For some reason, he felt as if she were staring right at him. Waiting for him to get it. A shudder ran up his spine. Never had he ever felt so cold at the thought of someone believing in his ability.
"I see," he said slowly. "All three of them. Why would the killer need to do that? Amano may have presumed that she'd swap his own plate... but why would he have worried about Niwa? Is that what you're saying?" Hisoka's mind caught. "Are you accusing Niwa-? No... He shouldn't have cared too much about his own. So why were all three? Is that what you're saying? Is that the detail you picked up on?"
He still couldn't read Kowai's expression. He still knew a monster lurked behind those eyes.
But now it was towering over him. Domineering. All-knowing.
"It wasn't me," Amano stated quietly. "I swear, I wouldn't poison him. He was one of my classmates."
Not a friend plea.
"Everyone is capable of murder," Hisoka replied. "Without an actual connection to her, your promises mean nothing." Yet even as he said this, he couldn't get Kowai's words out of his mind...
"So where does that leave us?" Chika asked. "Like, god, if it's not Amano, we're all screwed, aren't we?"
"Oh, Puhuhuhuhu~" Hisoka had forgotten he was there. A rigidity took over his spine. "Are my cute little students stuck?~ Can they not find a single shred of hope in their hearts?"
Suko had been quiet a while. They were still quiet now.
"We have hope," Hisoka growled back. Hope... despair... was the bear still on about that? "We're going to figure out who it is. Right here, right now."
Hisoka whipped to everyone.
"Who killed Nagisa Aoki?" he demanded.
"Everyone is capable of murder,"
Keiki shuddered at those words. Everyone, even their self. Would they bring their self to kill someone, here-?
No.
"Who killed Nagisa Aoki?"
Keiki flinched, the words were loud. Everyone was quiet.
Keiki watched all the unfamiliar students closely. "Who killed them indeed..." They whispered to their self.
Third Person POV
Chika stiffened, whipping to Megami. "We already went over this," she snapped. "And anyway, if it wasn't, why'd they bother to poison more than one? That doesn't make sense."
Hisoka frowned, to himself. "That's true. It doesn't make sense. But what if, trying to figure that out would reveal the truth? That pretending it was at the table... was the murderer's plan the whole time?"
A chill went down the spine of almost everyone there.
Monokuma's red eye was glowing. The button eye no longer seemed to exist- only the darkness of Monokuma's right side, smirking at them all.
Hisoka couldn't breathe.
He snapped back to attention a moment later. "What if, we pursue that line of thought... and with it, we discover who's been misleading us this whole time? Trying to distract from that point?"
"I guess that makes sense..." Chika frowned. "I'm still pretty sure it's Amano, but y'know, whatever. Same results either way." She threw back her hair. "Grace us with your logic, MegaSoka."
Third Person POV
"I don't know..." Hisoka frowned a bit. "No one was near the table, right? It'd have to be something else. Some reason why they'd test all three of them..."
"I'm tired," Suko grumped, flopping over their podium. "My ears hurt. You all talk too much. 'Just white noise at this point." They yawned a bit. "Wanna sleep. With Femi."
Third Person POV
Hisoka looked like he'd been struck by lightning.
"Yes! That's it- for some reason, the killer didn't know- they didn't know which one of the students they needed! They could've narrowed it down to Nagisa's plate- but for some reason, they were torn between the three who were together!"
Amber eyes blazed with excitement. "The killer- Keiki's right. They didn't know! That was their flaw!" His fingers twitched, as if he wanted to write something down, or fiddle with something. "That's how we can figure out who it is-!"
"That's a big jump," Chika observed. "Does that even make sense? If someone was listening to them, how would they mess that sort of detail up?"

"Everything is going to be okay."
Niwa Atsushi
"Great idea, Keiki," Niwa whispered. He felt a little awkward- damn, this was ruining his act- but it was important to let Keiki know. His heart ached at the thought of the other going unappreciated. "I never would've thought of that. And... it makes a lot of sense. I think we'll catch the killer in no time because of you."
Hisoka cleared his throat. "Anyway," he continued. "I think that's what we should focus on now. That the killer didn't know which one of them had the allergy, for some reason- and that will likely tell us who it is."
"Aww- thanks sweetie-" Keiki winked at him. "You're making me flush." They pretended to fan their face.
"Very sweet of you- thanks." Keiki grinned and straightened their skirt. They grimaced. "Red doesn't suit me- does it-?...pity..." They thought for a moment.
"...all this thinking is making my brain hurt...- Poor Keiki isn't built for all this detective work..."
Hisoka Yamanaku
The entirety of Niwa's face lit on fire and he groaned low in his throat, hiding his flaming face in his hands.
Hisoka considered stabbing the two lovebirds, but ended up deciding against it. He had to focus, and he didn't fancy dying just yet. "Any ideas? How did the killer know that one of them had an allergy? But they weren't sure which one?"
Suko moaned AGAIN. They were starting to slide down their podium. The weird mint hair-ring things were almost out of sight. Then they leapt up.
"I got it!" they chirped. "The killer's blind!" They grinned at Hisoka's dumbfound expression. "Right? So they only heard them- and they couldn't differentiate between the voices!"
A spot of hard colour had appeared on the tips of each of Chika's cheeks. "You're mad," she sneered. "That's total madness. I can't believe we're even listening to you."
Yes, but...
Keiki laughed quietly. They shook their head slowly, noticing Niwa's flaming face. They elbowed Niwa in the ribs teasingly, stifling their laughter.
They straightened up suddenly, clearing their throat.
"Right? So they only heard them- and they couldn't differentiate between the voices!"
..."He has a point. He does have a point..."
