To the strum of Megami's guitar, the students walked around the
chairs. Dun... dun... dun... dun.
The music had stopped. Nakata reacted first. Niwa cursed and
speed-walked past her, dropping into his. Keiki and Suzume
simultaneously lunged for the last one. In an epic move, Suzume
pushed them away and took it.
"Keiki's the loser! Puhuhuhuuhu~"
Niwa's head snapped up. He glared at Monokuma, who seemed to have
just spawned from a pile of dust and suspicious possibly important
files. "It should've tied," he muttered.

Niwa bared his teeth at her. The extra chair was moved out, and the
next round started. Dun. Dun. Dun. Duuuunnn.... With each pause,
Niwa started for a chair. Dunnnnn, dunnnnn- dunnnn-
It fell silent.
Niwa lunged, beating Suzume who tried to take the same chair. She
turned for the next, but Nakata had already claimed it.
It came down to Niwa and Nakata.

Suzume sighed in frustration, as she watched the last round
ufold. Niwa and Nakata remained, who would win? It's not that
this is of any importance... but at least no one is dying right
now. Unless-- someone was. Who knew anymore?

"Next round!" Niwa ordered, turning to Megami. "We're doing this
until the end!" His eyes blazed with intensity.
Ding dong ding.
"Puhuhuuhuhu! I'm proud to announce that the Escape Room is up and
running! Attendance is mandatory! You can find it on the second
floor, at the room opposite of the Drama Hall. Thanks for listening
to this Monomessage! Enjoy the festival, kiddins. Puhuhuhuh~!"
It shut off.
"We'll finish this later," Niwa vowed. He hooked his arm through
Keiki's and dragged them off.

"Unimportant," Niwa dismissed. Then he hesitated. "Maybe. I don't-
mean to dismiss you, Keiki. I just-" he looked lost. "It won't
matter if we're together the whole time, right? If we stick to the
plan?"
Off in the escape room, Monokuma laughed as he built in eleven
seperate rooms.

"That's not something he seems to like doing, no," Niwa agreed. The
two headed up the stairs, and paused by the indicated door.
"Alright. I guess this is it. You wanna head in first, or...?"

Suzume's eyes twitched, her fingers clenching into fists.
Escape Room? Oh... she loved Escape Rooms. She was always
great at them. But given that Monokuma was planning it, she
couldn't expect things to turn out quite as well. There's
something to this. Or... someone might end up dead. I have to
protect her.
She walked over to Megami. "Should we... go together?" She bit her
lip. "Listen, everyone, I don't think any of us should go in alone.
If Monokuma lets us head into rooms in groups, we should. The
Escape Rooms will be a lot simpler to solve, working as a team.
And... we'll all be safer."
She turned to Maji. "Would you and Hisoka accompany Megami and I,
if she's willing to come with me?"
I have my reasons anyway.

She frowned at Suko. "Not-" Then... she remembered again.
Her stern expression softened. "Sure, sure. Sure thing. Whatever.
Maybe it's the more the merrier anyway." Well. This is
bothersome.
