I have opened all 24 days but it is registering that I only opened 23. I went through and checked; all the doors tell me that "you have already received this gift."

I checked again and day 13 says "this door has already been opened." Could this be where the counting error originates from?

It's because you weren't able to do the task but it isn't the 13th anymore.

Then why does it say that I've opened the door and not that it isn't available? Because the way it's worded now implies that I have completed it.

"You have received this gift" means you opened it.
"This door has already been opened" means the website had to open it for you, because you missed the deadline.
[passive voice means it was done for you, not that you did it yourself]
