The chance of a shiny appearing I believe is near 1/6000 on Pokeheroes. Don't know about the retros appearing though or how they're weighted.

A retro appearing while trick or treating is pretty common, but a shiny retro appearing is pretty rare I agree but there's 130 something retro shiny gastly on the site so it's not that dificult

For retros is 2%, but is suposed that for normal pokemon is a secret
