Isla sneered. "Are you implying that I can't?" She asked,
arching her eyebrows. "Well, I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I'm afraid
you're terribly mistaken in that misconception. However, I will be
joining you, and not by your offer. If someone like you is
leading, then they must need some serious help."
"Hey!" Floyd protested. "Now that was just uncalled for!"

"Uhhh, I just wanted to make sure you knew. Honestly, i'm not even
really the official leader, i'm just the only one who can be
serious and take charge when necessary. Also, I can read maps and
blueprints. No offense, Floyd."
"Not to break up this amazing meet-and-greet, but shouldn't we be
having it in a hotel room in town? We've wasted enough time that
i'm the only one fast enough to make it by nightfall, so unless you
feel like camping out in the woods..."
"I was just thinking... about what she said." He motioned towards
Isla. "About you being our leader, and junk?" He ducked his head
looking a bit flustered. "Well, yeah... and... I was thinking that
I'd support you, if you wanted to be. That's all." He coughed a
bit.

I chuckled quietly. "Guess I should think of a group name just in
case. In all seriousness, being a designated leader is too much
pressure. Sure, I can lead and be serious if it's needed, but it's
not like i'm some mastermind socialite."
Floyd's shoulders relaxed. "Yeah, that's true." He paused and then
quickly said, "Like, not in a bad way- just, the whole schabang
being tough. But, yeah, cool. Thanks for not freaking out about
this." He laughed awkwardly and disattached himself from the
huddle. "Should we get going, then?"
