He didn't respond. The only noise he made was the sound of his fingers flying over the keys, the clicking of the mousepad. After a minute or so, he gave a curse and sat up. The blanket fell off his head, but was still wrapped goofily around his shoulders like a cape.


Despite this, his face was glowing beneath the fabric. Glowing with complete and utter... rage.

Genya stumbled backwards, hitting her head on her bed, hard.

She blinked back spots in her vision, dazed.

Her eyes swam with tears.

She winced as she tapped the back of her head with her fingers, and shrieked as the fingers came back red, covered in blood.

"I...what? No, I just got here a few minutes ago! I went to the bathroom and got changed. Why would I dod anything about it?" She cried.

Genya was taken aback, and overcome with pain..

She hastily scrambled backwards onto her bed, her eyes wide with fear, glaring at Aleko.

Her bedsheets stained with blood.

But he had turned back to his laptop, ignoring her. He began typing something frantically into his laptop. He hissed through his teeth and slammed it shut a moment later. "They took it all. They found all the names." He lifted his head, eyes burning with hatred. "This is your fault!" He turned on Genya, the skin of his hand hardening to stone-

And he stared at her for a long moment, taking in the blood, the pain.

His face crumbled.

And then solidified. He turned away and began trying something on his laptop again.

Her feature turned blank.

The blush, faded.

Her cheeks, dull.

Her eyes....crimson.

She lifted her hands, which were covered in blood.

Genya just....crumbled.

She couldn't suffer this. Not anymore.

Flashbacks. Of people who didn't care.

Never did. Never will.

Tears ran down her face, but they were meaningless.

Everything was meaningless now.

Emotions....

The only thing she felt now was...emptiness.

What had happened earlier?

Foolish emotions that a foolish girl had felt.

But not anymore.

Her head spun.

A crazed laugh escaped Genya's crimson lips.

Her eyes slid out of focus, as she slumped down on her bed.

She grinned madly.

Grabbing her pale neck.

And choked.

Alexander slammed his laptop shut with a frustrated huff. "Useless piece of-" he flung it at the wall and it hit the ground with a loud shattering noise as several pieces scattered in every direction. He glanced at her, and his eyes flashed with irritation. "What?"

Her face turned red.

She spluttered, choking to death.

Genya's eyes rolled around in heir sockets.

Her smile turned to a frown.

She mouthed one word.

Help.

Her head shook and she collapsed, one hand still on her neck.

Eclipse turned around, flashed brightly, and was Human. He got up, shook out his wings, and grasped Seara's hand. Shaking it gently, he said

"Nice to meet you, friend Seara! I-"

He cut off as his nose twitched.

"Is it- Is it normal, to smell fresh blood coming from the dorms?"

Eclipse was shaking slightly, the blood draining from his face. He took a step towards the dorms just in case, his body glowing slightly.

"Considering the lunatics we're trapped with here, I'd say so," Seara snorted. "Hey, where you going?" they asked, taking a step to intercept him. "We were talking, y'know."



Alexander yelped and leapt backwards, his head colliding with the wall. He cursed, his hand going to the back of his skull. He held his hand to his face. It was bloody.

"What're you doing?" he demanded. "Why're you-?" He peered closely at her and his gaze sharpened. "Let go," he snarled, his gaze flashing dangerously. "Let go, you little..."

She let go of her neck, grinning.

Purplish bruises started to form on her alabaster skin.

"I'm waiting!"

She shook suddenly, and there she was. Normal Genya, amber eyes widening with fear.

"HELP-"

It cut off suddenly.

She shook again.

Crimson eyes opened, and Genya cackled.
