He sat next to her, gazing out over the water. The sky glinted fiery gold, casting its own reflection down into the deep blue of the lake. Green shaded the edges of the lake, merging with the red to create a new hue, a crystal made of every shade of the rainbow. "I thought it'd be beautiful." Alexander murmured.

Her eyes watched the rippling movements of the crystal water.

She watched her reflection.

Genya frowned.

She sighed quietly.

She felt....cold.

Cold wind screamed in her ears.

She shivered again.

Genya felt....

Empty.

Alone.

Even though Aleko was sitting right next to her.
