The speck was growing, more rapidly now. It was. . . An egg? No, it
couldn't be. But it sure looked like a fuzzy egg. And it was
DEFINITELY heading RIGHT for the school. A could be passed in front
of the 'egg.' The 'egg' didn't go through it. It rolled off the
edge. With a crash like resounding thunder, the 'egg' slammed into
the lake by the school. Was it heard? Who knows. All that is for
certain is that it is an egg. An egg that fell from the skies.

The egg was silver. The egg was blue. the egg was all the colors at
the same time. The egg was no colors. the egg was moving. The egg
rocked. It shook. It vibrated. No, it didn't vibrate. It
hummed. It was a pulsing sort of music, reacting to the
presence of someone near it. IIf the egg was right then the
werewolf would pick it up, take it somewhere, show others. If the
egg was wrong, then the werewolf would not do those things. There
was almost no doubt that the werewolf would pick the egg up, but if
the egg was wrong the werewolf would take the egg to its room. The
egg would prefer being right. It was not unlikely.
