"Okay then...." said Fog, trying not to act suspicious. As quick as a flash, he pushed her in. He quickly conjured some ice creatures to chase DD around the room, they wouldn't cause harm but it was hilarious to watch. "Oh my gosh! Your face when I pushed you! Oh my...!" Fog said, rolling on his back, laughing so hard. Tears ran down his face from laughter and he grinned from ear to ear. "Oh my gosh," he whispered, still laughing.

DD yelped as she was pushed into the water. She tumbled through the fluid before righting herself, following the bubbles to locate the top from the bottom of the room. She flinched at the sight of the ice creatures but relaxed when they didn't attack her. She glared at Fog from the center of the room, cheeks puffed up to both make her irritation seen and to keep from taking in water. She carefully swam out of the room, hitting the floor on her knees as she quickly started breathing again. Her cheeks now red from both holding her breath and embarrassment, she grabbed her pigtails, loosely wound them together, and whipped the excess water out and at Fog, getting him right in the face.

Fog stopped laughing for a moment but then sight of DD's red face set him off again. "Y-your face! " Fog exclaimed, struggling to breathe. He caught the water thet she threw at him in his palm, turned it to snow and blew it in her face. Fog chuckled again. "I'm going to lunch, see you there!" he said and walked to the hall.

DD watched as Fog went away, shaking the snow off of herself. She grimaced as she laughed at her, entertained by her misfortune and lack of control in the situation. Her grimace deepened as she reflected on the moment. She shook her head. "No use crying over spilt milk..." she thought before squigying the rest of the water from her pigtails and heading down the hall, through the common room, and out into the castle corridors. Time to explore!

Fog sat down at a table and the only thing there was a golden plate. He frowned, where was the food? "Oh come on! I really wanted to eat noodles..." he said sadly and as he uttered those words, noodles appeared on his plate, fresh and steaming. Sauce appeared as well and he gasped. He was amazed. He scooped up the noodles with a pair of chopsticks that suddenly appeared and ate heartily.

Sakura and Jackie headed to lunch. After all, they were hungry. Then they saw Rose. They decided to introduce themselves to her. "Hello, Miss!" Sakura said welcoming her. "Hello!" Jackie said. "Hello girls! My name is Rose Velvet. It's nice to meet you!" She smiled. " It's nice to meet you too! " Sakura and Jackie both said at the same time, then giggling. After they told each other their names, they headed for lunch.

When DD sat down at a table, ...alone..., she felt confused as to the lack of food. She looked around to figure out how everyone else was receiving food. Her mind quickly filled in the gaps. She requested a simple meal of shrimp-and-chive pot stickers, udon noodle soup, and green tea. It appeared in front of her. She daintily took the chopsticks provided and began it eat, finding the food adequate to her likings.

Lin walked in quietly, not looking or talking to anyone. She tucked her head under her green hood and went straight to her common room. It felt just like home. It was full of plants and trees, the floor was mud and dirt. It looked exactly just like the forest. Lin quickly unpacked and left the common room, not bothering to meet her house mate. She walked to the hall, sat down on her own and whispered "Raw meat,". It appeared on her plate and her teeth suddenly grew sharp and her eyes black. Lin panicked slightly, she withdrew a flask of some sort of liquid. She drank it quickly, and she stopped transforming. She breathed a sigh of relief, her eyes were still devoid of colour and her teeth still razor-sharp but she couldn't change that. Trying not to draw attentions to herself, she ate her raw meat quietly.

The girls say down together. Jackie asked for chicken with iced tea, Sakura asked for salad with water, and Rose asked for pizza with soda. They ate their food and chatted. "So, do you guys have any powers of some sort?" Jackie began. "I can see through the future, past, and present!" Rose said. "That's cool!" Sakura said. "I can summon glowing butterflies, and I am the daughter of Aphrodite!" Jackie looked at Sakura and blushed. "That's cool!" Jackie said. They talked and laughed.
Then, Rose turned around to see a girl in a hoodie eating...raw meat?! She was confused on why out of all the foods, she chose that. "Why are you eating raw meat?!" Rose said, out loud, and everyone heard.

DD turned her head at the sound of commotion. Processing the words the girl, Rose Velvet she realized, she turned her head and saw that someone was, indeed, eating raw meat. She was shocked of course, but not too worried. This was likely another student and thus had powers that the others, and possibly themselves, probably didn't understand or have control of. Though she did take notice of the person's, the girl's, sharpened teeth. "Quite interesting~" She winced at the thought, but continued to observe the scene.

Lin stood up suddenly, a furious expression etched on her porcelain face. Under her hood, her mouth was contorted into a snarl so vicious, anyone who saw it would be spooked immediately. Her black eyes turned to glare at Rose. Tucking her chair in slowly, Lin growled quietly. The ears under her hood twitched and her ivory fangs glinted menacingly. She walked away quickly, and upset, hoping that no one else noticed.

Rose felt a shiver down her spine when Lin gave her the death stare. She decided to follow her, to apologize for her rudeness. She saw Lin, and approached her, gulping heavily. "E-excuse me.." She said, worryingly.

Lin ignored Rose and walked quickly to the Earth house, where she lay angrily on a pile of leaves and twigs. She was furious with Rose and a wolf's hatred never dies. Lin started to sob quietly, thick pearly tears ran down her pale face. The colour slowly gushed into her eyes, leaving one green and one brown. They like to change colour, her eyes, one of the only things that she liked of herself.

Fog watched angrily at what happened. Rose shouldn't have said that, it was rude. He felt sorry for Lin and wanted to comfort her, but those eyes scared him. He too left quickly and walked to his dorm room, began to read a book and waited for DD.

DD watched the two girls leave the cafeteria. She winced. Hopefully... She squashed the thought, turning back and finishing her meal. As she got up to leave, her eyes caught sight of something that the meat eating girl's table. A strange flask, likely filled with some sort of fluid... She adjusted her course to go by the table, pocketing the flask as she went by. She headed in the direction the girl and Rose had gone, watching as the girl ignored the other and entered the House Earth dorms before returning to her own dorms.

Jackie and Sakura rushed to Rose angrily. "Are you crazy?! Why would you say that?!" Jackie said at Rose. "That was very rude of you, Miss Rose." Sakura said, disappointed with Rose. "I-i'm sorry! I-i didn't mean to, it just came out!" Rose said sadly. "Whatever. Let's go, Sakura." Jackie said angrily, as Sakura and her walked away. Rose ran in her dorm, locked the door and cried. "First day, and I ruined everything.." she sobbed.

Lin realised with a sudden jolt that her flask was gone. She raced back to the the hall, checked where she was and it wasn't there! Lin growled angrily, and ran back to her common room, panicking slightly. She couldn't help it, she let out a howl that no one but people with the ears of a beast could hear.

Fog's ears suddenly perked up. It sounded like a howl. "Hey, DD. Did you hear that?" He asked, confused. It was either a wolf or something more...

Turning her head, DD was quiet for a moment, listening for whatever Fog had heard. Nothing. She shook her head and replied, "Hear what? There was no noise." She began to wonder about the importance of the flask and its contents. What was the truth about that strange girl?

"Huh, you didn't hear it? It was a howl or something. Must've been the Forest." He said. Fog was about to continue his book when he hesitated. DD was holding something, something that looked familiar. "Hey, DD....isn't that Lin's?" He asked, pointing to the flask.

Lin's ears were superb at hearing, as soon as she heard Fog talk about her flask, she was at their common room in an instant. She was overcome with fury. "Who did you say took my flask?" Lin asked Fog, carefully and angrily, giving DD the death stare with her now two blood red eyes.

Rose put her hands over her head, and sobbed. "I blew it! Stupid mouth! Always saying stupid stuff!" She cried angrily at herself. Jackie and Sakura were talking to each other, until they heard Rose's cries. Jackie and Sakura didn't want to go in, because what she said was rude. But then again, they felt bad, and walked in to see books on the floor, and a blanket over Rose as she cried. "Uh, Rose..?" Jackie said. "Please go away...I don't want to see anyone at the moment.." she said weakly. Jackie and Sakura looked at each other and frowned. "We'll leave you alone.." Sakura said, as the two girls left. Rose cried even harder, as her body glowed pink.

Fog left quickly at Lin's words. He saw Lin stare angrily at DD and gulped. This girl was scary . He walked past Rose's Common room and heard her crying. He felt bad. Fog also heard other voices comforting her and he felt a twinge of guilt. He should've done that. "Oh well," he muttered to himself and peered in the common room, curious to see what the other girls looked like.
