A small slip of paper flew out of the beast's mouth.

B) Kill someone as a werewolf.

1) Get a date before this day next week.

2) Kill a teacher.

She groaned.

Mirej couldn't do the last one, she'd made a pledge to not kill innocent people.

But the first one was surely impossible.

How would she get a date!?

Seara scowled. "Not me." The paper landed in their hands. They read it with a frown. "Tch." They slid it into their back pocket.

"Me," Isla cut in. She stepped forward.

Kendall winced. He hated seeing everyone breaking down like this... "Guys. We- we can't give up. This is ridiculous, it's horrible, it's maybe even impossible. But lives are on the line, and we have to find a way to do this! No matter what it takes." The sickly feeling in his stomach got worse as he spoke, and he clenched the paper tightly in his hands. Killing Ai Li, or making her hate me... no... Why did this twisted person want this? What did they have to gain?

Gisela's POV

Gisela sighed. Honestly, she'd rather die than do hers. But- no. She wouldn't. Ugh. But the idea of either option made her gag.

A knife was sticking out of his ribs.

Melancholy nodded.

Kaden limped over to Adrik.
