She smiled sadly.
"I'll teach you how to dance."
She made him copy her footsteps, the positions you had to be in.

"You're sad," Alexander noted as he took her hand. Suddenly, he gave her a twirl and caught her. "Why?"
Stacy sighed happily, resting his chin on his hand. Then his eyes narrowed. Sharpened. Rage started to climb up through the depths of them. He smiled, patting his bag, and started forward...
And in the process, tripped over a body lying inert on the floor.

She curled up into a ball, her hair forming a chocolate curtain over her face.
Her arms clutched a gold-tinted knife, as a child would hold a teddy bear.

Genya sighed.
"It's...it's hard to talk about, y'know?"
She pinched the bridge of her nose.
"When you lost your memory...I thought 'this is it. He's not going to remember us.'"
"And, well, you have. You've forgotten what happened.
The river.
Hide and seek."
She blinked rapidly, preventing tears.
"It's not your fault, of course.
I just wish this never happened."

"But what if..." His voice trailed off and he didn't speak anymore. He was clumsy again, nearly tripping her at several intervals, and tripping over her at many.
"No, it's fine." Adrik was backing up. "It's just..."

She scowled.
She cursed in Suli.

She shook her head, fighting off the drowsiness.
