~St Venti's School for the Magically Gifted~
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Private RP → ~St Venti's School for the Magically Gifted~Isla raised her eyebrows. "Hm?" But at the sound of a male voice behind them, she turned. Her eyes landed on the person. Narrowed.
"A friend of yours?" she asked.
Adrik blanked for a full second. "That's what you wanted to ask me?"
At the same time, while he felt disappointed, a sense of relief surged through him. And confusion. Kaden... well at least from what he'd seen of him, he wasn't the kind who'd stress out about such a simple question... and the psychology books stated that most people remained relatively consistent in their personal views of importance unless an event had impressed on their mind-
And oh- he'd been thinking for too long. Time to say something.
"Uh- purple."
Great. The one colour that didn't exist. The one colour he despised due to its annoying complexity. The one colour that didn't make sense and deserved to be set on fire. Was this a bad sign-?
Seara was sneaking out of the room, dragging their adorable waifu with them. They froze midstep, then burst into a run.
"Get back here!" Isla yelled.
It studied her closely.
A red aura....hints of purple. A little bit of blue in there too..
He chuckled to himself quietly.
His eyes glinted.
-------
"Yes.
That...um...
That was what I wanted to ask you."
Kaden faked a smile.
His eyes glistened with tears.
"Huh." Adrik tilted his head to the side. He blinked a few times, then gifted Kaden with a hesitant smile. "How about you?" he asked. I wonder if it's something special to him... colours. With all his symbols...
Seara opened the door and ushered Grimm through it. "Want to go tell everyone else about the dance?" they whispered to her.
Adrik's mouth went dry. "Green," he echoed. "Green... huh?" An image was starting in his eyes. Green everywhere. A garden of life, with every sort of thing under the sun pushing upwards, looking towards the sky, spreading its petals, its leaves, being pure and perfect- he looked at Kaden.
He was there. He was life. He was everything.
"You're right," he said. "I like Green too."
"Right..." Adrik suddenly had no idea what to say.
Alexander stirred awake because I'm dead inside at this point and can't come up with anything better.
Isla smirked a bit and turned away.
"Have fun!" Adrik called, and promptly checked himself. Then died of embarrassment.
"You too, sweetie!"
He called after him, cackling with laughter.
When he reached the bathroom, he started to sob.
He felt depressed.
Lonely.
Empty.
"Nothing a good swim can fix."
He whispered to himself.
Swimming was a kind of therapy for Kaden.
It relaxed him.
Sweetheart? Adrik blankscreened.
