I sent out a poke on the 'Marine Cave' mission over a day ago. How long does it usually last for? I've never done this mission before and was curious of when to expect it to finish.

As send your Pokémon to this area, it will explore and rumble continuously until it finds the boss, Kyogre for Boss Battle. You need to be patient in order for your Pokémon to find the boss as there’s no definite time for this. Its totally random.
If your Pokémon finds the boss, you’ll get a notification about Boss battle and then, you can battle Kyogre. If you win, your ‘mon will bring back you a Sapphire (which can be used to summon Kyogre at Ancient Cave) and if you lose, your ‘mon will return with the map.

For me maps have taken about 1-2 days to find a boss then it either takes 12 hours or 1 day to come back
