Out of Xiao and Hu Tao? I'd probably just pull for Xiao, purely bc I don't have him yet.
Though, I probably wouldn't even use him if I got him, I just like to collect and use characters I like.
I already have Hu Tao, she's level 80, ascension 6, but I don't use her much bc I find polearm characters difficult, control-wise.
So I don't think I'd even think about trying for her constellations.
In terms of banners, I generally just pull on all of them anyway, like, if I get the limited character, great.
If not, it's not a huge loss as it's the 4-star characters that are on the banner that typically determine if I'm going to whale or not c':
Please play responsibly kids, don't do a me and whale for a character that refusing to come home ~

hopefully ganyu's rerun is in the next two or three versions, that's what i'm hoping on so i have time to get primos but the wait isn't too long.
baal and ganyu in the same version would be a nightmare though... i want my archon pokemon card collection but ganyu

Out of the two, I go for the same as @~Fahrenheit~, Xiao, purely because I don't have him.
But, Hu Tao C1 is very powerful, unlimited charged attack is a dream on her.
My Hu Tao is level 90. Lucked out on artifacts, and have her talents at 8,7,8.
But really, Raiden has been on my radar. Now that I have a guarantee, I shall do 10-20 spins on Ayaka for the 4 stars, A few on Yoimiya for Sayu. Praying I don't get either 5 stars, last time I got a Jean and a Zhongli at 30 pity.
The only time I ever whaled (Buying Genesis crystals), was on Xiao. I didn't know 50-50 was a thing and go C1 Qiqi :(
Ayaka will be a really good character for Inazuma, but since I have a Ganyu, I will be passing.

Now, this really depends on the enemy, and both, even though being relatively similar, are quite different in many aspects.
Building both for Abyss is ideal.
End of the day, Genshin shouldn't be a chore, so always play with who you like rather than who is meta :)

Xiao and Hu Tao are equally good, it really depends on what characters you have. I don't have either but look into what characters go well with either and what teams you can build.

Hu Tou is another really cool character, but no one in Inazuma catches my eye (yet), so I have some time to grind.

In terms of Anemo DPS, Xiao, Kazuha (Higher Constellations), and even Jean (very flexible with building) work well. Venti and Sucrose are best built for swirl support. Swirl Support is important now as the buff increases their damage considerably.
Kazuha, C0, is best-played support. For starters, if you have Jean, I would recommend building there.
Sayu, the 4 star in Yoimiya banner, is also an Anemo Character. But I'm guessing she would be a support as well.

She's the last one on my dream team.
But I got 2 Yanfeis, a flute and a noelle constellation.
Give me 1 Ningguang please.
Well I won't be getting her this time sadly as I'm on 73 pity and am guaranteed a banner 5* and I want to save the guarantee for Baal/Ganyu when they come and save till then.
So I guess there's nothing that can be done now.
Do you think it's possible to save enough primos to get 180 wishes (to guarantee the banner 5*) before baal comes?

But I still have time to speed run Inazuma and, if all else fails, I have money lmao-
I haven't seen Ningguang since the Lanturn Rite free character thingy, I want to get, at least, C3 for her
@Taavi - I'm not too sure about how many pulls you'd be able to save
However, if you're looking for a guaranteed Ningguang, the character's in the masterless starglitter exchange changes each month !
So, unless Mihoyo decides to pull something, Ningguang should be in there come September ~

I'm looking to guarantee a 5* banner character which is like 180 wishes at max. So I'm trying to save for that.
For Baal/Ganyu (whichever seems more OP and comes to the wish first.)
I currently am on 75 pity. And my last 5* was Jean.
So next one should be the banner character.
So that's one down. I'm wondering if I'll be able to save 180 wishes before the other one comes.
Also do you think Yoimiya is gonna be good?
