"Ah, its just a special cover, nothing else." Mehul muttered, as he went through the book.
"Collector's item, I suppose. Hey look, that book would be great for you!" Suvansh says, pointing at a copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
"Mm? What's it about?"
"Ah, I forget at times, how you're a muggleborn~" Suvansh replies, as he smirks. "Buy it!"
"I do not like that smile, no."
"Oh please, everyone in the wizarding world has read it at least once. You should too!"
And Mehul checks it out, only to find it was a book for kids! Suvansh laughed out, and repeated, "Buy it!! It's a book that's at your level!"
Mehul pouted and walked away from him, only to run into Emerson. "Eek- sorry!"

Emerson artfully stepped backwards out of the way, causing him to fall. "Em!" Aurora hissed, rushing to help him up. "Sorry. Nice to see you guys out and about." Emerson said, also helping Mehul up. Aurora pushed her hair out of her eyes to give Emerson a hard stare. Physical contact was an absolute no with Emerson. Even running into her was too much.

"You sure you don't need The Tales of Beedle the Bard? You could make a deal with Death for giving you balance or something~" Suvansh jokes about. "Nice to see you too-" Mehul mutters, getting back up, glaring at Suvansh. Suvansh just shrugs. "Uhm so, whatcha'll be looking for?" He asks the girls, to build a conversation.

Aurora shrugged. "I wanted to see if the Special Edition Fantastic Beasts is any good. The last time they made a special edition, it was terrible." she scowled. Aurora slipped more and more into the American accent when she got frustrated, which had really begun to amuse Emerson.

Aurora groaned. "You can't change what's already perfect." she said. "They never add anything interesting." she shook her head in disappointment. Emerson giggled. "Not all of us have the book memorized." she teased. Aurora resisted the urge to smack her. "At least I have something memorized." she snapped, glaring at Emerson.

Suvansh nodded to Aurora's words. It was pretty cool, he thought, how she was obsessed with magical creatures. And of course, he spoke his thoughts aloud without realizing.
"Dunno about that, but you seem pretty obsessed with Aurora~" Mehul teases him back.
"Pffft" Suvansh makes some grumpy noises. "And you are obsessed with how I'm obsessed with her! Which uh of course I'm not!"

Aurora laughed. "Maybe I'm a little obsessed with you too." she said with a wink, grabbing Emerson by the arm and dragging her away from the boys. Once they were out of earshot, Aurora let go and muttered "run" under her breath. Emerson complied, still laughing her head off.

Suvansh half blushed, and half puffed his cheek, fairly certain she was just making fun of him too. He glares at Mehul as he bursts out laughing, and looks over to one of the nearby books, and reads out a spell, mordax, pointing at the book closest to Mehul. The book comes to life and runs after Mehul, trying to bite him. That's when the shopkeeper came and kicked them both out of the store. They were probably banned from there now. Suvansh crossed his arms and walked away from Mehul. Mehul was just tired, and decided to leave him behind and go back to Hogwarts, if Suvansh was to act up like this, and so he did.

Aurora ran the way to the shrieking shake, with Emerson trailing behind her. "I knew it! I knew you liked him!" she teased. Aurora swat at her. "Just wait until I tell the girls about this." Aurora went pale. "You wouldn't." she swallowed. "You're right, I wouldn't. Lighten up Scammander." Emerson said with a smile.

Suvansh just walked about the streets of Hogsmeade, wondering if Mehul was following him. He hoped he did...but he had obviously gone too overboard with his behavior. He should apologize to Mehul. And when he turned about, to his not-so-great surprise, Mehul wasn't there. So he sighed and ran back towards the shop, but Mehul was just nowhere to be seen. He walked about idly, munching on the misty caramel-chocolate bar he had just bought from Honeydukes. He wondered what Aurora was thinking about him right now, for the tenth time or so this week. Was she laughing at him, or did she actually have feeling for him?

Aurora was nervous. Very nervous. For what reason? She didn't know. She had started to hang out with Suvansh a lot more, which was really nice. He knew some about Magical Beasts, not as much as her, but then again.

There it was, the 14th of February. Valentines Day. "ASK HER OUT!" Mehul shouted at Suvansh for the fifth time in the past two days. Yeah, it was not teasing anymore, but he had actually been talking to Mehul about Aurora a lot more in the past few months! "But howw? We aren't even like, you know, very close or anything! I can't-"
"But you at least gotta try!"
"And what does trying mean??"
"Well, trying means to try!"
"Pfft"
And so the brewery began. What would he tell her when he saw her? Should he get her something? There was a ton of stuff available at Honeydukes, especially for the occasion. Or he could go with a simple muggle-fashioned rose or a non-magically chocolate heart? And worst of all, where would he take her if she did say yes??
So with a bit of a plan in mind, which he knew he would forget the moment he saw Aurora, he marched into the common room, hoping to find Aurora there.

"There he is! Ask him!" Emerson hissed at Aurora under her breath. Aurora gave Emerson a scared look before standing up. "Hi Suvansh!" she said, giving him a small smile.

Suvansh was startled just a lil bit by Aurora. He mumbled for a moment, going over with the planned approach in his mind, and replied nervously, "H-hello!" Aaand he could not speak further. He mumbled for another moment, put his hands about his back for mustering confidence, and finally said, "I-I gotta go, talk to you later!" But as he turned around, Mehul blocked his way and glared at him. Suvansh pouted and turned back to her, but didn't speak.

Aurora turned red. "Oh okay. Well uh... see you around I guess?" Had she done something wrong? Aurora mentally tried to remember every single thing she had said in the past 2 weeks. She couldn't think of anything bad. Did that mean he just didn't want to talk to her?

Suvansh pressed backward a bit into Mehul. He would've run off by now if he wasn't standing there. Mehul whispers into his ears, "Just ask her already!". And so he blurts out, "Would you like to go to the Shrieking Shack with me? nO wait I meant The Three Broomsticks! Not Shrieking Shack-" he dies in embarrassment, ever so more, with Mehul laughing out loud. WhY did I say Shrieking Shack what the hell?? He elbows Mehul to stop, but was so red that he couldn't look Aurora in the eyes. To that, Mehul just walked off, which resulted in Suvansh almost tripping backward, having been leaning on him.

Aurora's smile grew. "Yes." she said happily. "Heck, we can even go down to the Quidditch Pitch, I don't really care." she said, teasing him. Behind Aurora's back, Emerson made some kind of single to Mehul... maybe they were planning this all along...
