Whistle and Moonlight were running into the woods now, far from the lab from which they came. The Shiny Leafeon and Umbreon Gjinkas were panting hard now.

"I need...to stop...girl." Moonlight gasped to her friend. "They shouldn't catch up to us now...It's been two days..."

Whistle skidded to a stop, hardly hearing the stranger's voice over the sound of her own breathing. "A-are you sure...?" She fell to her knees, panting. They'd been running almost non-stop since escaping.

"Y-yeah..." She fell beside the Leafeon. "I need to rest..." Her umbreon ears and tail started to glow, lighting up the area around them in a faint blue glow. The Umbreon was clearly tired

The Umbrehuman put out his hand smiling

"Huh?" Whistle looked up at the other Gjinka in shock. It was easier to see him now, with all the light. Were their other escaped gjinkas here?

"Oh uh...hi." Whistle was still clearly breathing heavily, as they'd been running for a while. Even in the dark, it was easy to see she was extremely exhausted.

"You friggin scared the bejesus outta me! the hell dude!" Even with her still heavily breathing, Moonlight recovered enough to stand up and glare at him.

The two girls didn't hesitate for once, and began chugging them down.

"I needed that..." Moonlight breathed when she finished. She used moonlight, as that seemed to help her recover some of her strength from running.

Whistle was clearly waiting for Moonlight to speak first, as she was the more confident of the two. She swallowed the last drops of water.

"I...guess I go by Moonlight now." The Umbreon replied, dropping the bottle to the ground and stomping on it dramatically. Come to think of it, their moves could have been originally meant to be code names, thought to be solely for his use, before they decided selling the creations would be more profitable.
