Heyo, well I was wondering if anyone here has played HetaOni. I know the idea of it, but I am terrified to even think about playing it. The reason is, I find that anything depressing about Hetalia hits me pretty hard. I read a dōjinshi about Germany and Italy, which was extremely depressing and scarred me for about a week. So, I'm wondering if it would be safe for me to play it DX If it's graphic, then I do not mind that. I'm just worried I won't have any feels after playing it ;_; So, I'm just looking on opinions about it, if any, nothing about the story itself

EDIT: Well, I guess I'm gonna brave it and get the game *is waiting anxiously for my stupid Australian internet to hurry up and download it*

@Julhen_Belishmidt
Sorry! I totally blanked and forgot to reply back. That sounds really cool! It also kinda of reminds me of Chinese New Year for me, which in Vietnamese is Tet. It's a 10 day holiday that we travel to and visit our relatives and give each other money to the younger kids and offer food. It's tradition not to wear white during that time as it symbolizes death in that culture.

@Kirigaya_Kazuto: I'll tell you that yes it is upsetting, but I feel like it's an experience that you need to experience. You can watch other players play it, but I'm not too much of a gamer these days and watched it. It's sad yes, but you also can't help but cheer them on. Anyways, if you do end up playing it and getting super depressed, we're all here to help you. I think most of us have either played or seen HetaOni and it can get depressing.

@Elementalcrystals
That's nothing :3 I'm happy that you answered anyway. I heard a lot of Chinease New Year and Vietnamese culture, but I never been very interested in it.

@Kirigaya_Kazuto
I've played HetaOni, untill it glitched. But I'm too lazy to re-setup it. If you have a dipression about it, or you scared about some moments, try turn off BGM and play Nyan Cat song instead. I've played at the beginning, because I (not) finishing it on the third time I played, because the other two, I was too scared D:

@Kirigaya_Kazuto Good luck with it! It's pretty sad at points, but there are also wonderful bits. You will definitely have feels from playing it, both good and bad, but even through that you'll want to keep going :D

Oh my gosh, okay I cried the most when everyone claimed their human names and when everyone was gathering to help Italy XD IT WAS SO FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL~! But, I wish they were all real so I could give them all hugs and tell them it will be okay *sniff*. Well, the time I was most depressed was...when....my....game....crashed and lost.... four... hours.... of gameplay.... I started it from the one hour mark, where the save didn't get corrupted but, all in all it was a well-made game and yea I will absolutely tell people to play it even if they're like me. And for some reason I actually really like the Marukaite Chikyuu dark version...

Omg omg I am so so so so so so sorry for the double post, please don't crucify me but no one else has posted yet~! DX

Well, is anyone attending their local meetup for Hetalia Day? I went down to where my area is having the meetup today for an excursion and it inspired me to attend even though I'll probably have a heart attack because there will be so many people who actually like what I do and would actually want to talk to me, plus I have no one to go with o-o ...I'm in the process of trying to get together materials to make a cosplay for it, and I was interested to see if anyone else is going owo
again sorry for the double post, I know it says you can't but I have no idea when someone else is gonna post!

It's fine, no worries. It can't be helped.

Well for one thing... I'm not in Australia like you are, or I may have joined with you if we actually lived close enough. Also due to university work, I barely have time to go. But if anything, you should go if it's something that interests you. Also I think you have more than 10 days, Hetalia day is at the end of October. Double check with your location.

I've always wanted to go to something like that, just to meet anyone who loves the characters I do and I think it would be fun, but my parents are very strict and would never allow me to go.

Oh my god I totally forgot that it was September DX STAHP! DON'T LOOK AT ME THAT WAS SO EMBARRASSING *hides in corner* Don't blame me school is messing with my mind, I even forgot I had to go through a mini-exam today...

Daw, that's sad to hear twin, hopefully they'll let you go sometime!

@Elemental yea, I've decided that I'm definitely going, even if I'm shy I think being around people that were there to actually interact with everyone else because it's a special day that only we can acknowledge will kind of boost my self-confidence....
Also I think even if someone visited Australia, they would probably only have a 0.5% chance of being in my area, though thank you for the thought x3 yay for being the most isolated capital city in the world, who can guess where I am? actually even if you know it don't say it

@Kirigaya That's good! I hope you'll enjoy Hetalia Day. And it's fine, it's like majority of people that visit America is always on the other side of the country and I'm just like ;A; Come visit me here...

It really makes me wonder what the Japanese people do on Hetalia Day, I'm very curious lol.
I'll just celebrate Hetalia Day by doing a marathon of the first season in my room :3

@Kirigaya_Kazuto

@twin Teutonic Knights (little, adorable Prussia x3), the hardest part of the cosplay will probably be fitting my hair into a wig o-o and I think the next cosplay I'm going to try is 2p England, he's so cute <3
