Forum-Index → Diaries → SakuraWolf23's Starry Skies-Kill Skeleton King and Azmodan on Torment 13
-Complete and Master a Set Dungeon (Chose Firebird's Finery)
-Level 3 gems to Rank 35
-Augment an item with a 50+ Gem
-Greater Rift Solo 60 (Torment 13)
Tomorrow's Goals:
-Torment 12 Nephalem Rift in under 6 minutes
-Level one Gem 10 more Ranks (3 Gems to Rank 45)
I really, really hope that the season ends on the 9th or after, as I've seen assumed. Cause, as I said. IF I can accomplish that Greater Rift 70 Solo (Torment 15 equivalent), I can ask for help on the remaining tasks.
And I know I can get at least another Torment Level up by Rifting/Grifting for more Augments, and getting four more items as Ancient for another 3000% additional damage.
Ahh! So excited! This is going to be really close!
Also. If anyone here plays and would like to help with Conquests or Paragon levels to help me get that Lacuni Cub Pet (currently P511), I'm FireWolf1117#1115.
I'm...Torment 14 Capable?! Or at least, will be when I'm done Grifting for the day to upgrade gems and get better pieces. It took me 30/15 minutes to do a Nephalem Rift. For the most part, creatures died easily. Bosses took 1-3 minutes. But...What? This is the highest level I've ever played. ^.^
Doing Greater Rifts. There are five types of Pylons that give boosts.
Power
Shield
Speed (aka Zoom)
Channeling (aka Boom Boom due to our Explosive Blast attack)
Conduit (aka Zappy)
Yes. We actually call them that, and I started the habit.
Anyways. Dad's watching tv, and I find a Conduit. I advertised as such:
Ooh. Zappy. I get Zappy.
*touches pylon* I got Zappy.
*lightning arcs from my body, killing creatures instantly*
Zappy make creatures go bzzt.
And I almost busted up in laughter cause of the thing I'd seen recently of young'uns saying something goes "brr"
-Slightly low on Protein. Not a big problem.
-Slightly lower than average on Liver functions (preferred low)
-Slightly low on Calcium and Vitamin D (supplements suggested)
-Nowhere near pre-diabetic, steps taken still recommended
-Cholesterol surprisingly good considering food intake, steps taken still recommended
-Thyroid working good
-Acid reflux determined. I'm to take Tums when I have pain
-Referred to a sleep specialist
-Picture taken of the discoloration I developed under my eyes almost seven years ago to send to a colleague to see if something I should investigate further
Noooo! We did a Torment 10 Nephalem Rift in like 1 minute 58 seconds, thinking the time ended upon killing the Boss. But it doesn't. We have to speak to Orek in town. So we failed the Conquest by like three seconds!
Oh, well. At least we know now. Next time we're that close, he's going to kill the boss while I go to town, so I can insta speak to Orek, saving those few precious seconds that teleportation and looting cost us.
Gotta say. One of the worst parts about playing the higher levels that I still have some difficulty with is dealing with nose itches that conveniently come at the most inopportune of times.
That, and the cats/kittens thinking that now is the best time to ask for attention. Have you tried playing a two-hand game with only your mouse hand? Cause I've done that. Multiple times. But they're so worth it. Very glad that I've never had a desire to play hardcore.
Today's Victories:
T13 Nephalem Rift in under 4 minutes
Conquest: T10 Nephalem Rift in under 2 minutes
Likely to accomplish tomorrow:
Level 3 Gems to Rank 70 (70, 67, 62)
Conquest: Divinity (Greater Rift 75 Solo)
Remaining:
Kill Urzael on T13 in under 20 seconds (I'm going over by barely 1-3 seconds)
Conquest: Avarice (50 Million Gold Streak)
XD Kill Rainbow Goblin (no super rare creature), log out to reset, do one of the common Goblin spots, find another. Waiting on dad to be ready. Fingers crossed that Princess Lillian is there so we can get the Cosmic Wings. Or even Prince William for the Rainbow Portrait Frame.
For reference, Rainbow Goblins are Shiny Megas. If Giga-Able existed, the specific spawn I need would be a Shiny Mega/Giga-Able.
To commemorate this specific occasion of completing the Diablo III seasonal journey for the very first time, I want to write out my character (Angel Flamel)'s progress. I need to go through the list and give a guesstimate as to what order I accomplished the tasks in.
Next season, I'm going to keep better track AND play a different character. I usually only play Wizard. The only other class that has gotten a decent amount of attention from me is Demon Hunter. And, after completing this week's Challenge Rift as some random person's character, I really want to work with that class again.
It's sad that most newbies will only be able to get two of them easily enough. But I guess that is two less you have to buy or breed, so *shrugs*
And I mean...I'm not trying to complain. It's great releasing old events again. Just. Not great making them as difficult to obtain as new event releases.
Also. The last set looks like Spring, Summer, and Autumn Mareep. Most likely only going to get one of each.
Mom also came home earlier today saying that her friend got her on at a local (a mile or so away) Food Packaging company. I tried to convince her to walk the short distance, but she keeps calling me crazy for even suggesting it. She'll be borrowing dad's van. Or if she and Josh have different schedules, they can work something out. Since she's not going to be around people often, hopefully she can keep her job. She's one of those who likes talking trash and complaining about anything and everything to anyone and everyone, and then wondering why nobody at work likes her.
I know it's kind of hypocritical of me to say this--but not really cause everyone considers me incapable of taking care of myself--but I'm glad they both have jobs now. For the last ten years, they've mooched off of friends and family, not wanting or being unable to get a job for various reasons. Lame excuses of weather, nonreliable vehicles, people won't hire cause not bilingual, could never keep up car insurance, etc. As well as other comments, some of which were just unbelievable.
Anyways. Just wanted to give that update for them. Hopefully they can keep these jobs, as dad and I plan on moving to Kentucky in a few years, and mom has already stated that they don't plan on following cause it's "too hot". And I'm just like "Please! Dad has issues with the heat. He would not move anywhere that affected his health poorly." But she just doesn't want to. And I need to know they will be able to make it on their own. So. Wish them luck!
Two Conquests. We're halfway to Avarice with the collection of Horadric Cache boxes. I want him to do Boss Mode over Divinity, but he thinks he can make it to Greater Rift 75 Solo in the remaining six days.
Getting three Gems to Rank 75. He's currently at 60, 60, and 63. Like I said, RNG isn't cooperating with him. He can't do the required Greater Rift level to raise them on his own. And I can barely complete a two person T15 GR. So we've been doing T14 GRs at 60% chance to level a Gem up a Rank.
He thinks his problem is getting two Ancient Rings, which would increase his damage by 1500%. I think, based on my improvement, he should Grift to level up several Gems to 50 to Augment his stuff with 250 Intelligence. But either way works.
I don't think we'll finish by the 14th, which means I won't be able to do any writing for yet another week. And then the 15th-21st is Reading week. I'm sorry for the long delay on Angel of the Shadows, and I'll do my best to make it up to you!
And I'm like. Huh? Nothing's been going on for a while now. This sure came out of nowhere.
But then I was doing my daily run-through of sites and came across something, which has set my panic and fears off. I'm telling myself not to worry. To ignore this to the absolute best of my ability. But my hands are shaking, so it's not helping much.
Still. People want to leave their past behind them for reasons. Most of the time, it's cause they want to move on, forget, and become a better person, and can't when old issues keep being brought up to new people.
Hopefully, my fears are unfounded, and things blow over.
Oh, Judith. I still miss you so very much. <3 :'(
Title: Forevermore Excerpt
Mere seconds after Layla had taken the scarf and moved a foot off to the side, she heard the voices of the twins get louder. She turned to face the door just in time to see them reach the hallway. The pair were still arguing. And now that she was more coherent, their words were still incomprehensible. Kind of as if they had their own little language.
Only now could she take in their appearance. Both had hair black as night. One had ocean blue eyes, while the other had forest green. Each of them had streaks in their hair matching the eye color of their sibling.
Blue Eyes closed the door as the two walked into the hallway. Green Eyes reached a blind hand towards the wall, only to cut off mid-sentence when her fingers scraped against brick instead of her scarf. The scarf now tied around Layla’s waist seemed to be from the same set as the gold scarf with a blue raven that the other sister wore around her neck.
It didn’t take long for them to break into a heated conversation, which quickly turned into another argument. Under different circumstances, the scene would have caused Layla to burst out in laughter. As it was, her stifled snicker made them fall silent, and, wide-eyed, they turned to stare straight at her. Well. Through her. Their lack of other reaction confirmed that she could be heard, despite being invisible.
My info is being passed on to the appropriate channels, so I won't know my first appointment for a little bit. For now, my schedule is two sessions (45 minutes to an hour long) a month. Which will change to more suit my needs after the first meeting with the Therapist.
