Okay. It seems I can no longer deny the fact that I like Romantic Comedies. Just finished I think my fifth one, and I've liked every one of them. It's great that even with all the comedy, they teach such valuable lessons. The one I just finished is What Men Want.

Therapy Intake Appointment set for July 12th. That seems like it should be plenty of time to prepare mentally and emotionally for talking face to face with a stranger, but, odds are, the closer I get to the appointment, the more freaked out I'm going to be. But this needs to be done.

My brothers has been trying to get his license so he can get his first job at almost 21 and finally make something of himself, as well as to help support mom who's getting to the point of not being able to work. He's currently at his second take on the written. Won't know for about two hours if he passed or not.

Reminder. There are four reasons why I do not currently drive.

-The motions of a car are so soothing to me, I tend to fall asleep on half hour trips.
-I daydream or otherwise daze out for minutes at a time, not hearing or seeing anything going on around me.
-I lack decent Depth (as does dad) and Distance Perception. (My vision is like 20/40. He is genetically near legally blind in one eye)
-Both parents have Night Blindness, so it's a high chance I do as well. And I lack the mentality and perception to properly compensate for it.

Anyways. Dad and I have been discussing. Though we feel all of the above would make me a danger to not only myself and others, we both acknowledge the fact that they are, as dad would say, "legitimate excuses". If worked with, we believe we can find ways to accomodate for all issues.

So. With me taking Zoloft, going after Therapy, and doing other things to help make myself a better functioning adult, by the end of next year, I hope to have my Driver's License. We'd most likely limit driving to local town for a while, then test my ability to go town to town.

A week ago, I called one of my friends, but she didn't answer. I've messaged her twice since then, once on Facebook and once on Discord, but she hasn't responded to either. She lives in an area with wildfire danger, she's older than me, and has been in a mild state of depression for a few months.

And I'm trying to hold back tears. I don't want to bother her if she's going through something, but I'm worried about her. I really hope she gets back to me soon.

XD Cool. I used the Contact Links thing in Settings to snag the mini icons for a few sites. Now, the "My Stories" section of my profile has clickable mini-icons to the four spots my fan fiction, Angel of the Shadows can be found on. It also has a new cute little gif. ^.^

I spent most of the last two days playing Diablo III with dad, as it had been so long, and I loved the Pet for this Season, so wanted to get it. [If you want to add me, I'm FireWolf1117#1115]. That, however, means I only have 900/5000 words with five more days left in this Writing Week. I'm heading off now to get some writing in.

Ahh. Just got word from that friend I'd been worried about, and it's like I could feel something wrong.

The last June, she had a really bad fire nearby. Took two months to contain it, so she breathed in lots of smoke during that time. Apparently, that weakened her immune system, which gave her an infection, which led to a blood infection, which caused problems to her already fragile heart.

She's been in the hospital for the last ten days and almost didn't make it. She's about dad's age (he's 53), and had been remodeling her house all by herself for the last year and a half or so. Doctors gave her orders not to work so hard.

Me: *removes oatmeal from microwave*
Dad: Did you put chocolate milk in your oatmeal?
Me: >.> Noooo. What makes you say that?
Dad: Heated cocoa puts a toxin in the air and I can smell it.
Me: Really?
Dad: No, I saw you do it.
Me: -_-

Nooo! Why do Concert tickets have to be expensive? Just found out that Skillet is going to be in Kennewick (an hour and a half away) on October 12th. And I wanna surprise my mom, but for two tickets, it's $80+. :(

Oh no. I just realized that the Lacuni Cub pet I saw for Season 23 of Diablo III is for completeing Guardian Level tasks. The highest we've ever gotten is Destroyer, as we just can't figure out how to do the insane damage the Leaderboard people can, even when emulating their builds.

I'm looking at the conquests, and it looks like we could get Avarice, Speed Demon, and Sprinter if we worked with the right people or got strong enough. BUT, that still leaves the issue of having less than two weeks to get powerful enough to do a Solo Level 70 (Torment 16) Greater Rift, and we've not ever been able to do over a T10, with T13 being the highest we ever got during Seasonal.

Depending on how much I like the next Season's pet, I'll go to Chapter IV or spend 200+ hours trying to reach Destroyer capability. Thankfully, Seasons run for three months, so if I put all that work in from the start, I might make it.

As for this Season, I'll content myself with the Dragon pet for finishing Chapter IV.

Oh? Apparently Kovu has absolutely no problems with tummy rubs, providing he was the one who initiated the request for attention. I'm going to attempt to respect those wishes, but it's going to be really hard, considering I just want to cuddle him every time I see his cute floofiness.

572 more words, putting me at 1,802/5,000 for the week. I might get more in tonight, but not sure. Expecting about 1k tomorrow, though, since I'm at a part where the words seem to be flowing freely. Sadly, tomorrow's the last day in my schedulted writing week.

BUT, it winds up being the last week of the month, which gives me one to three Wild Card days. So *calculates* If I can get either 1k words each day over three days, or 800 words over four days, I'll reach the goal and will be able to put out a new chapter of Angel of the Shadows! *crosses fingers*

Spent a good portion of the day playing Diablo III, trying to get as powerful as possible before the season ends. It's 11.20, and I've just spent the last hour writing. Fell short of both goals, but managed to get 687 words before I wound up too tired to continue. It was less than I wanted for today, but, oh well, still got something written. So that makes 2,400/5,000 for the week. Here's hoping I can do it!

Good night! May the Force serve you well! <3

From my Facebook Memories three years ago.
Oh, wow. Completely forgot about this. Wonder how he's doing.

Wow. I just spent 15 minutes talking to a salesman. I haven't had much experience with the black community, but OMG was this guy hilarious (and kinda cute). He had an amazing attitude. You could tell he definitely loved being a salesman.

The product is Advantage 20x. He showed how it worked on one of the car's headlights that hadn't been cleaned in a while. It even removed the permanent marker from a washrag near instantly. I loved how when he was showing it on the window, he said "Wax On, Wax Off" and when he was cleaning the permanent marker, he was like "It's like an argument. Just goes back and forth and back and forth..."

Dad's typically against buying any type of product based on sales hype, but he liked the guy's attitude enough to buy one at $20 to try it out.

Update: We recently had the chance to use the product on a really dirty huge aquarium, and by golly, did it work like a charm! Definitely worth the $20.

My Dexter Morgan seasons 1-8 came into the Post Office, and since dad wouldn't let me walk in this heat, my brother took me, with a 24 pack case of water as payment for services rendered.

Below holds potential gross-out factor. Read at your own risk.

While standing at the checkout, I saw something that really intrigued me. Disgusting, but intriguing nonetheless. And so, I bought two suckers at $3 and $5. They were orange and strawberry flavored. And made with real bugs included. In this case, a Cricket and a Scorpion.

Now. I've eaten a cricket before. I was like eight, and had just learned bugs were a good source of protein. We had sticky traps to catch the mice in our house. Unfortunately, they occasionally caught crickets. Which, out of random curiosity, I'd picked one off the trap, and stuck it in my mouth. I remember it didn't taste as disgusting as I'd expected.

As for the Scorpion. I'm not sure if I'll be able to eat it, as I've always found scorpions cute.

Yes. It's 1 am, and we're still awake playing Diablo III. We're going to do one more thing and head to bed. We hope. XD

Kovu just jumped onto my lap wanting attention, so I gave it to him. After a little bit, he crawls up my chest, gets right in my face, and licks the tip of my nose for like ten whole seconds.

He then lays down on my lap, allowing me to belly rub him. All the while, he's purring up a storm while his tail is going back and forth.

At one point, he notices my other hand beside him, basically sticks his face into my cupped hand, and rubs against it.

11.30, and I've been playing Diablo III for practically five straight hours. I did get like 200 words written, but regardless, I still failed the goal. Tomorrow begins reading week. Not sure how much I'll get done then, either, as this Season ends July 9th, and I'm close to jumping up another tier level. Once it's over, things'll go back to normal for a while.

However, I will be yet again reconsidering my schedule. Going to keep the Read/Write/Read/Write/Free method(at least, until I'm out of library books to read and it becomes less of a priority), as it works really well. But, though I'm trying to abide by dad's rule of focusing on primary projects, I continue to feel bad that I don't put out regular updates for y'all, and I know some of you really want to see how this turns out. And it's really hard when an idea for Angel of the Shadows is gnawing at me.

Basically, what I'm thinking is. In order to abide by dad's 1:5 request (for every 100 words in AotS/RP, I write 500 in Forevermore), I think I'm going to allow myself one day a week to work on Angel of the Shadows. Both writing and reading weeks. And make it to where that's all I get. Whether I write 100 words that day, or 3,000. This way, I can put out at least an update a month during the times that I'm not feeling much up to writing at all.

2.15 am, and we're finally heading to bed. We were trying to accomplish the T10 Rift in under 6 minutes, but kept failing by just a teensy bit. On the plus side, I did become strong enough to play on Torment 11. But still. I might, might, MIGHT be able to complete Destroyer category before the end of the season. Regardless, based on how far we came in less than a week of playtime for Season 23, I'm sure we can get to Guardian level next time if we start from the beginning.

Progress:

Checked T10 Rift in under 6 minutes, Extract 40 Cube Powers, T10 Realm of Terror, and T10 Realm of Fright off the above list today. Waiting to get one last piece for the Firebird Set Dungeon, and then I'll be completing that. I have two of three gems at over L35, and one at L20. Dad may have to help me with Mastering the dungeon. The last time I was on that step, I kept coming super close.

IF I can make it to a Solo Torment 13 Greater Rift, then I'll ask in chat for 1-3 of the bigger players to help me get the rest of the achievements. Those I'd need help with would be:
-Complete 1, 2, and 3 Conquests
-T13 Greed, Azmodan, Skeleton King, Siegebreaker, Urzael
-T12 Nephalem Rift >6 minutes, and T13 Nephalem Rift >4 minutes

We've also learned quite a bit this season thanks to how hard we've been pushing. So, as I said. If the Guardian Pet is something I really want, I actually stand a very good chance at getting it.
