Erika stopped looking around and decided to hang around the main hallway, eyeing people and leaning against the wall waiting for the bell to ring. Meanwhile, Ashley was kicking a ball around and practicing shooting techniques and ball tricks. It seemed as if no one else was in the Gym hall at the moment so she could make mistakes as much as she wanted without feeling bad about it.

Shuffling through the sneakiest corners of the school like this was a piece of cake. Sure, Kamma only knew how to get into the vents because of her very obviously kicking one off, but nobody would know that, right?
She stops to look down at one particular spot. Right down into the teacher's lounge. She turns off her flashlight and pushes her ear close to the vent.

"There's a lot of new students this year! I do think this year will be one of the best, yes yes!" It was Mrs. Lantos' voice with the way it wavers. Kamma rolls her eyes. Mrs. Lantos always has this fake happiness vibe around her.

"The entrance ceremony should be soon... Are you sure, everything is ready?" This time it was Mr. Frazier... His voice is old and rough, but it is really such a delight to listen to. It makes you feel at home.

The entrance ceremony is soon... Kamma grins. Yeah, she'll make this year's one to remember!

Yura slid down into a sitting position back at the cafeteria. He had floated at least half of the school and he doubts he'd remember the way to anywhere in a few days. Taking out his phone, Yura calls his brother for comfort as he is still not quite ready to try and talk to any of the other students there.

He does have to wait for the Stsrting Ceremony anyways so why not get update to your family? "Hey, Yuro." Yura said as he heard the click on the phone, "Yura! Knew you'd be hopeless without your other half, miss home already? Regret moving out?"

Mistakes were made, of course his brother would tease him to no end. Yura slowly groans into the table, muffling the sound of 'Nevermind, I'll just do this later' while a sound of snickering is heard through the other line.

A bounce to his step, Ebony seemed to see people he knew from the year past at every turn. He strode along, grinning at people, nodding to others, waving to some, his younger sister still stumbling along in tow. The Dragalge knew exactly where he was going, as opposed to many of the students who's first year it was. Presently, he emerged from the crowd and into the cafeteria. Turning on his heel, he gave Cascade a hug, grinned, then shoved her in the direction of the sophomore table.

With a huff of annoyance, the Kingdra regained her balance and watched her brother waltz confidently off towards the table at which the rest of the seniors sat. They greeted him, smiles all around, he sat down, and tossed his head sideways and said something. A peel of laughter erupted from the older kids. Sighing, she turned, brushed her skirt out busily, and tentatively approached the sophomore table. Granted, she was grateful to Ebony for guiding her through the school, making sure she wasn't one of the latecomers, but couldn't he have walked a bit slower? She knew he did it on purpose, though. The tall, brown haired boy found his sister's comparative shortness hilarious, but he'd had to quit teasing her about it verbally, as doing so now resulted in her reminding him that she was still better at swimming than he. Choosing a seat at the table that was relatively isolated, Cascade pulled her still-dripping hair over her shoulder, crossed her arms on the table, and laid her head down.

Scarlett heard the rustling in the vents “Hey...Echo, I’m gonna go check something out, see you later!” She said, before quickly scrambling into the vents behind the emolga and tapping her on her shoulder. “I see you’re up to no good. That’s very bad of you. Can I help?” She asked, eyes twinkling in mischief

Echo turned to look at the girl— Marie was it? “Well, Mary, unless you have a black belt and specialise it various kinds of martial arts like judo, karate, etc, I think I’ll stand a pretty good chance against you. I’ve been taught ways to defend myself even against guns and knives.” She growled. “However, I don’t Attack unless necessary...” she added as an afterthought

Theo was rather comfortable, squeezed between the bookshelves. Unlike most people, he absolutely loved small dark spaces. But when his stomach rumbled loudly, he knew that this Lord of Darkness needed to eat. So, carefully moving out, he scurried out of the library and into the cafeteria. Freezing when he saw the number of people, he immediately looked for a table that was out of the way. Seeing one with only one person, he hurried over to the table where Cascade was sitting. With a little difficulty, he hopped onto the seat and stared at her with narrowed eyes. "Theo, Lord of Darkness wants to know why you're sad."

Scarlett running off seemed very peculiar to Asumi but she barely managed to listen to what Echo said about specialising in various martial arts and it was just music to her ears. Of course, she didn't reply to her since Echo wasn't referring to Asumi, even though it seemed oddly specific, but she had pride written all over her. "No matter what's the case, you should never attack first, especially if you are familiar with any kind of martial arts." she added in agreement to Echo's afterthought.

The girl's head shot up and she looked both directions, first to the right, then to the left, the water in her hair weighing it down a bit and causing it to swing out with the sudden movement and nearly whap the boy who had sat beside her in the face. "Sorry!" she yelped, glancing at him; he looked relatively young, and she wondered if he was in the right place, but she knew better than to say anything, for the moment. Cascade blinked her eyes in attempt to force them to open, stifling a yawn behind her hand, then shook her head again, flinging more water. "Oh, I'm- sorry! Agh," she covered her face with her hand, embarrassed. His question registered in her sleep deprived brain, and she quickly answered with an awkward laugh, "Er, I'm not sad, just went to bed late and woke up early." Practice started at 5:00, and she'd been so anxious that night that she hadn't fallen asleep until 2:00 that morning. The highlighter and concealer that she'd applied after practice covered the dark circles beneath her eyes, for the most part.

Theo nodded. "I am glad to see you are not sad." Tentatively, he patted her arm with one of his oversized sweater sleeves. "But you should sleep." In a sudden burst of inspiration, he declared, "But I am the Lord of Darkness. I never sleep, as I haunt the dreams of my subjects." He looked proud, then his face dropped and he mumbled into his sweater, "I actually just have insomnia, but that's not as cool."

Ebony turned in his seat, looking over his shoulder at Cascade. She was sitting mostly by herself, but a small, darkly clad kid appeared to have sat beside her, and they were now talking. That would have to do. He turned back to his friends; the group was catching those who weren't members of the group chat up on their summers.

She gave a vexed smile, both amused and confused by his statement. "And I'm Cascade," she said, hoping that was the right response. Was that the right response? Oh goodness, she couldn't tell. Ebony had tried to give her a crash course in conversationalism once, but if one was wondering if it was possible to flunk out of a class with no homework or tests, she could confirm that she'd managed it. Perhaps a question? "Um, what grade are you in, Lord of Darkness?" Was that his real name? No, of course not. Gah, would he think she was mocking him? Quick, say something else! "I think this is the table they set up for the 10th graders, but I could be wrong..." No, wait, that sounded like she was doubting whether he ought to be sitting there!

Theo groweled, "What? You think I'm 10 or something? I'm 15, why can't people FIGURE THAT OUT." He poked her arm. "And my name is Theo." Turning around, he pulled his hood over his head and crossed his arms. Figures. No one took him seriously when he was this short. When Theo was little, he had always dreamed that if he wished hard enough he'd be taller. Still wasn't working 8 years later.

"No, that's not what I meant. Ack, I'm sorry!" Oh boy, she'd apologized to him three times in under 2 minutes now. "A fifteen year old could be in either 9th or 10th grade," she tried. It wasn't what she'd been thinking, but it was true. Goodness, she was a mess. She was up late so often, she'd have assumed she'd actually be a competent, functioning student by now, but apparently even simple conversation was out of her grasp. How on EARTH did her brother manage this stuff? He always seemed so confident and sure, and everyone liked him.

"I'm in tenth grade." Theo glanced over his shoulder at her, clearly pouting. He crawled under the table. "I need to find a very small space right now so that I won't destroy you because I am very powerful and smart." Theo was perfectly aware that he was acting like a child, but he didn't care. He hated it when people said he was younger than he really was, and his pride was hurt. Though he was still uncomfortable with being in a large crowd, he went back to sitting on the chair. "Nevermind. I'm not thaaat mad at you."

The increasing amount of students has somewhat disturb Yura's moment of calm, "I'm gonna call you back later tonight Yuro." He's not really ready for any kinds of socialization so Yura pocketed his phone got up from his chair, slowly drifting towards the library he had happened to pass by earlier. The library would probably not have that many people considering most students does not find the act of reading enjoyable.

Yura waves at the librarian and floats towards the myth section, finding whatever interesting legendary lore he could read in the mean time. He grabs a book and went towards one of the vacant tables to sit and enjoy some alone time.

"Alright, well, that's good," she said, still slightly perplexed. It was all she could do to not apologize again; even she knew that 4 times would be a bit much. Cascade wanted to say something else to the small boy who would apparently be in her class, but she couldn't think of anything. Letting her head flop back down on the table, she wondered if the "Starting Ceremony" that Ebony had spoken of with a twinkle in his eyes would be starting soon. The Dragalge hadn't told her what it was about, though. All he'd done was exclaim, "It's a mystery!" and make jazz hands when she'd tried to pry more out of him.

“In my old school, we had a sort of fight club....We would battle it out in the boxing ring. You could tap out anytime, and no unhealable injuries were allowed...I wonder whether they do allow it here?” Echo thought to herself

"oh my," marie shook her head. "thats sounds quite aggressive, was that a last resort option when both sides have exhasused every option to come to a conclusion? our school is pretty peaceful, except for the occasional pranks. most of us here are friends, so we dont really argue !" she smiles and tugs on her skirt. " thats a nice list of skills though, you would make a great athlete ! "

we did try the peaceful way...didn’t work out one bit. The teachers were too scared to do anything, to be honest, but it was kinda fun. I don’t mind being a athlete, but I learnt martial arts for fun. I like this school too, thought sometimes I miss the chaotic-ness of my old school. I used to fight....and my classmate once broke the classroom door....but other than that we were all good kids.

"Ehhh?!? I doubt they'd allow sucha thing here. We do have a Martial Arts club but that's just to represent our school whenever there is a tournament where other schools enter as well. It's hard to imagine what kind of violence must have been there, but since you're here in one piece then you must be quite tough!" Asumi remarked. She kind of underestimated Echo but maybe she was stronger than Asumi thought.

"Just don't go around beating people up if they disagree with you,or you'll be dealing with me!" she chuckled. "I'm Asumi,Asumi Honjou. Nice to meetcha!" she sticked out her arm for a handshake.
