Ephina was already up, carefully opening some of the windows. When she heard Olya enter, she smiled. "Goodmorning! Ready for an awfully slow day? You can start by helping me move some of the plants. The ones with the blue ribbons are the ones that need the most sunlight."

“Right,” Olya nodded and walked over to one of the pots with a blue ribbon and scooped it up into a bear hug.
“Is there a specific place for these or will the windowsill work?” She asked.

Serena was very particular, going over it until she was sure the saddle was clean enough. For a 14-year-old, she showed a lot of attention to detail. When she was finished, Serena held it up. "Alrighty, that's all there is to it. Even though the postmasters usually take care of yoos horse, it's always good to know for emergincies."

Avari tapped her foot impatiently. She was standing at the gates, awaiting the man with the blindfold. As it turns out, she wasn't a very patient huntress. Gerrin paced in a small circle around Avari's feet, occasionally glancing towards the entrance of the city. "Where is he? He should be here by now, unless he decided to make me come looking for him."

Tazu stood for a long minute, hesitating. Finally, he started walking forward. As he left the forest, it seemed as if he was blinded once more. Everything was confusing, and his few senses were in chaos. Somehow, with much difficulty, he made it. to what he assumed was the "gates."With heavy breathing, he muttered, "I hope you weren't waiting on me."

"I was, actually. Now come on, I'll guide you to the healer's place." She grabbed for his hand, not counting on waiting on the mysterious man much longer. Gerrin sniffed the man's feet and legs, trying to figure out what to think of the man. "Gerrin, that's enough. Let's go."

Tazu nodded. "I suppose..why are we doing this?" He was utterly confused and tried his best to follow. The sight of the man made many people stare, but he had no idea. "Where am I anyway?"

"Welcome to Nyxbrin, where everybody's happy and drunk." She made a slight face, then tugged on Tazu's hand. "We're nearly there. I also never got your name. Mine's Avari." While leading the tall man, she awaited his answer. If there's one person who'll get excited about a mystery man in the woods, it's Ephina. Her eyes were focused on her path only, Gerrin leaping ahead with a bit of excitement. The few times they'd actually visited Ephina, the fox had gotten some herb that seemed similar to catnip.

Tazu sighed. "I told you, I don't know my name. I woke up in the forest with no memory, and no idea where I was. I'm blind, so it nearly killed me."


Meanwhile, Ephina paused at the window. "Olya, do you..belive in premotitions?"

Avari was silent. "Nevermind, then. We're almost to the healer's place. She'll make sure you're not too messed up." The healer's hut was in view now, not far away. Stopping in front of the door, Avari knocked three times.

Olya shuffled over and sat down the last pot on a shelf grunting. Lifting was not her strong suit and some of the pots were quite heavy.
She huffed and pushed a strand of loose hair out of her face “Premonitions (that’s what you mean right?..)?..For sure.”

Ephina nodded. "I think-" she was interrupted by the knocks. "Looks like we have a customer!" Opening the door, she first noticed Avari. "Oh, back a-" she then glanced at the man behind her, her eyes widening. "T-tazu?" Tazu glanced around. "Who is..Tazu?"

Avari tugged Tazu forwards, stepping to the side so Ephina could see him. "Tazu, huh? He was at the edge of the woods when I found him, doesn't know who he is or what's going on. You think you want to check him out?" She gestured to the blindfold. "Gerrin! No!" The command was sudden as Avari watched Gerrin leap into the shop and start snuffling around. After looked Avari directly in the eyes, he trotted towards Olya.

Ephina stared at him, tears forming in her eyes. "You don't understand...this is my husband who's been missing for ten years." She stood in complete shock and Tazu was rather confused. "I...who are you?" Ephina tried to smile. "Don't be silly Tazu, it's me, Ephina, your wife." Tazu shook his head. "I don't know you." Ephina's smile faded. "No, stop joking. I'm your wife. You know me." Tazu shook his head a little harder. "I have no idea who you are. This is the first time I've met you." "I..." Ephina was starting to cry a little. "No, you're lying. You're lying, you have to be." Tazu shook his head again, and Ephina bowed her head. "I suppose I'd..better check on you anyway." Leading Tazu to a seat, she gently lifted the bandages, before immdeadiently gasping and fixing them again. She whispered in disbelief and horror, "He has no eyes."

"Apparently he can hear real good too. He heard my bowstring out at the wall." She made a face at Gerrin, who was still on his short way to meet Olya. Stepping inside, Avari closed the door behind her. The Ranger didn't seem phased by the fact he had no eyes, as if it were a daily thing that some man that had been missing for a decade suddenly appeared again without eyes.

It took Olya a moment to remember that Tazu was the name of Ephina’s long lost husband but when she did she became very quite. It also seemed that Ephina knew the woman escorting Tazu.
Olya backed herself against the wall and watched them almost rabbit like.
That was until she was interrupted by the fox.
Olya had never seen a fox inside the city before and almost jumped. It’d be very silly though for a feral fox to suddenly enter their shop and Olya was certain that it was the lady’s. She did just shout a command at him after all.
Olya bent down and extended her hands forward for the fox to sniff “Gerrin was it?”

Tazu nodded. "I hear what I cannot see." Ephina sighed. "There's nothing I can do. It would be one thing if his eyes were damaged, but there's just..nothing there." She moved to the back room. "I need a minute. Olya, why don't you introduce yourself to Avari?" Once she left, Tazu asked, "Who was that woman? Why was she so sad?"
