Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → Against Shroud - RP ThreadAs she entered the Pokemon center, Dusk blinked at all the bright colors that flooded her vison after the greys and whites of the snow-filled backdrop of the outdoors. Pokemon Centers always did this to her, ruining the aesthetic of the rest of the town with the bright reds and and blues of the animal hospital and the shop next to it. Needless to say, she wasn't particularly fond of them, or bright colors in general.
Instead of picking a seat, like everyone else seemed to be doing, Dusk and her partner took a seat on the floor as they awaited their stay at the Center. Yoru, her Umbreon, grabbed a book using psychic and floated it over to her trainer. Yoru was a good friend, always knowing exactly what her master liked. Dusk had had a rough childhood, her father murdering her mother after being drunk one night, scaring his daughter out of the house. She hadn't stuck around long enough to figure out why he'd done it, neither had she'd called the police, being too young to know how. That, combined with the bullying she'd received for not fitting in with her classmates at school led to the darkly dressed girl not to have a kind view on her peers. Pokemon, however, like Yoru, had always stayed by her side through it all. When she'd ran away that night, her precious silver Eevee had evolved. They'd stuck together ever since.
Dahlia rushed to the Pokémon Center, with Floof perched on her shoulder, as she talked to herself. "Cold. Coldcoldcoldcoldcold........... Whew, that's better..." Considering that her outfit certainly wasn't suited for the cold, it was safe for the others to assume that she was another type protector.

"Right away, ma'am."
Shinobu went back to her office, called back her team, put on some warmer clothes, locked her door, and went to find the project managers.

Void ignored the PokeBall cooly; clearly the Inteleon couldn't take a hint. Instead, she raised a clawed foot and pawed at the winter clothing her trainer was holding. The oft-absentminded girl was just watching the other trainers and seemed to have forgotten about her sopping wet apparel. The Absol began to nudge Lace back towards the PokeMart, having observed a changing room just outside. She smiled a bit and ruffled the fur on Void's head. "I'm sorry, I know. Thank you," she whispered, turning back.

Xaiver shrugged, letting Bolthund crawl into his lap and start chewing on his scarf. "I suppose we could." Xaiver wasn't about to say it out loud, but he was still very confused.

The Disaster Pokemon glanced at the white haired trainer, then turned back just in time to see Lace crash into a post. Taking a step towards its trainer, the Absol's feline face contorted in an expression of concern. Lace rubbed the back of her head, muttering, "Oww..." but adding, "I'm fine, Void," upon noticing her Pokemon's worried gaze.
Psybee looked bellow him, suddenly being scared of the drop bellow him. Even if Brayon was a average height Mudsale, for the male meowstic he was a giant. He calmed down when he felt the familiar stroking of his trainer's gloves.

Brayon turned to Viola, worried that he did something wrong. Viola stroked his head, before picking off Psybee-in-a-tantrum-mode off the floor and back on her lap.

Shinobu, after briefing the team that Shroud asked her to lead, was now flying towards Snowpoint, atop Garuda's back. Sometimes she wished she could've been given a Salamencite rather than the Absolite she ended up with, but such is life. Even if she did get a Mega Stone that Garuda could use... She'd probably end up using her in battle more than she'll ever use Absol, and she might as well take Absol's Mega Stone and then hand him over to be tested on, before catching a different Pokémon to fill that sixth party slot, like maybe a Zoroark or something.
