Forum-Index → Roleplay → ☾ LUSAMINE // RP THREADDespite the circumstances, she was trying to be as amiable as possible, she really was. Wouldn't do her any good to make them think she was a jerk. Which she wasn't, not normally. She wanted to go further into the cell and prompt the man to follow her, but the heat was really starting to wear on her, and she found herself longing for snow. Not the strangest thing she'd experienced that day, but she'd never actually seen snow in person, much less touched it, and somehow now knew how it felt. Guess I am sort of an Ice Type now, if that's how that works.
A loud noise from behind her in the hall caused her to whip around to see a young boy who bore uncanny resemblance to a Luxray, a Pokemon she was quite familiar with. Goodness, another one? How many people had these scientists, if they could ethically call themselves that, done this to?
The researcher stumbled towards the router and pressed the power button.
Suddenly, the room came to life and the screen lit up. He jogged towards the nearest computer and after a few clicks, he was able to connect with the main Aether headquarters. A window popped up, indicating that the receiving end had picked up his call. And the person on the end of the line was none other than Aether Branch Chief Faba himself.
Before the eccentrically dressed man had time to question the scientist, he cried
`` We need backup! They're escaping! ´´
Steppind down another Muddy path not far from the campsite where she had left the others, Addy and her trusty Froslass Blanche made their way down another small hill, they were enjoying their walk together, the shadow of the trees granted them fresh, cool air to take a breather. She hadnt asociated much with the others, mustly keeping to her Pokemon, which she was quite close with , they were few of her only friends to be exact. "Maybe I should make friends with my companions-" Addy muttered, earning a nod from Blanche as she did so. She then almost stumbled down into the mud, but caught herself thankfully, only the lower part of her jeans had gotten a little dirty while almost falling, She´d wash that out later with Gardevoir.
She sighed a little, the voyage here was a disaster. She had almost left her backpack back in the harbor, then when she went to get it she had gotten lost in the large city and when she finally made it to camp she had fallen directly into one of the muddy puddles near the exit of the campsite. Truly her luck wasnt the best, yet she did her best to make up her mind and think ... happy about all of these things. She made it to alola safely, next step was to find her Brother and return home.
Sebastian
Sebastian cringed as he stepped out the door of the dark room, the light through the mist still hit him as if he were hit directly with a laserpointer. He took a short while to adjust to the current situation, adjusting to the light and the... much bigger space he had to move around. Although he knew that he could just loose his footing at any given time, he stood steady for now, at least halfways.
As the Mist began to clear, largely, she assumed, due to the heat emitting from the man, which didn't have as much of an effect on her now that they were in a more open area, she realized there were large jagged spikes of rock near her door and this one. They look like Stone Edge, she recalled. That must have been it. Running through what she'd done to cause them in her mind, she recalled how she'd focused on something piercing up with force the first time and then rocks doing that the second time. Without thinking much, she tried it again. Stone Edge blasted out in a circle around her, none close enough to hurt the others with her. Most smashed into other cell doors, and the collective sound of crunching metal echoed around the hall. She yelped, jumping back and covering her mouth quickly.
Her face flushed with embarrassment. "Sorry..." she muttered, lowering her hand and rubbing the back of her neck. Forcing herself to calm down from the sudden panic, she noticed the veil behind her had turned a pale ruddy color. Great, did it reflect every emotion? No, she decided, probably just the more extreme ones. Shaking her head, she responded quickly. "He said he'd be back. With reinforcements. I'd say we run to the right and take our chances. This guy here, who I'm assuming is known only as Fire Dude, can probably melt through anything I can't break."
Cassandra wearily stepped out of her tent, and scanned her surroundings. There was only an hour before she was sent back to her tent, but she figured she might as well enjoy the fresh air and do something about her numbing foot. Her brother had been using the charcoal from the fire pit to absentmindedly doodle on the log benches. They sat in silence before Cash finally spoke up.
`` I hate it here. ´´ Cash groaned slamming his head into the timber.
`` You can say that again! ´´ She exclaimed, crossing her legs.
`` I hate it here. ´´ Cash repeated, rubbing the red spot that had formed on his forehead.
`` I meant that figuratively. ´´ Cassandra snorted, letting a moment of awkward silence pass them by. `` It's awfully lonely out here, I wish Poppa would just send us back home already. ´´
`` I know! I think I'm going insane each passing minu- ´´ Cash paused.
`` Hrm? What's the matter?´´ Cassandra queried.
`` Where's Clarisse?´´
In less than a fraction of a second, the two siblings were up and running about. Cassandra spotted somebody in the distance...a girl accompanied by a Froslass. Cassandra bolted towards her, she and her sister weren't on the best terms but no matter how many times she wished she was an only child, she certainly didn't want Clarisse gone.
"eh- oh..my name is not-. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier, The time is not right yet I assume. I guess that nickname is alright for now.." He didnt want to seem stuck up or anything, but 'fire dude' seemed like language he´d never use himself. He just... well blatantly seemed in awe at the power of her Stone Edge, eyeing the spikes with great interest. "Theyre.. looking steady" He muttered, looking at his own palm, few red sparks danced over the tips of his fingers, he narrowed his eyes slightly while looking at it. confused clearly. but he brushed it off. If she could use pokemon moves, it would only be clear that they all would be able to use them.
Abby
Abby had sat down on a bench, made out of the ice froslass created and mixed with pieces of wood to steady it, it was fully handmade. They had practised to make these for the last few hours, because ... they had been walking quite a long time. Honestly.. Abby had been thinking about so many things, she must´ve forgotten to keep an eye on her clock.
Cassandra skidded to a halt as soon as she got near Abby. She bent over and put her hands on her knees, her chest heaving.
`` Haveyouseenalittlegirlwitha- ´´ Cassandra exhaled all in one breath and inhaled again, continuing where she left off.
`` Anadidasjacketaboutthistall... ´´ She went on and on flailing her hands around.
`` I just can't find her! My brother is looking somewhere else and I don't know if he'll go missing to and- ´´ She rapidly inhaled and exhaled again. If Cassandra could look at her current state from an outside perspective, she would have guessed she either looked like a lunatic or....no. There was no other option, she must have looked like a lunatic.
To say that the sudden appearence of a person in front of her startled her, would be an understatement. "A girl.. uh .. I dont think I have. Ive been walking for the past hour or two but I havent really come across anyone. all I could hear was some music playing in the woods.? sounded like the stuff you´d play at a party perhaps?" she replied, trying to answer all questions
As she ducked quickly through the hole, the coast seemed clear, for now. Who knew how much longer they had, though? That scientist hadn't seemed like a slacker, that was for sure. "Onwards, Fire Dude and other poor unfortunate souls!" she grinned. Just be silly. Be funny, be silly, be happy. They'll want to keep you around that way. From years of practice, her technique was near-perfection, her tone flawless. No one could have guessed the joking, the smiles, were forced, faked, even, and that really, deep down, she was more terrified than she'd ever been.
He followed them, slower, unsteady. His legs didnt go the way he wanted them to. But he still managed to tag along, although not fast. His wings were barely useful in this situation. It was cold due to the icy mist, his wings were still crumpled. At least they managed to get out. that was good. then he´d need a way to get back to normal.. doubting that that was possible. He was always negative in such cases, this was extreme of course, but .. well negativity doesnt go away
