She had to muffle her laughter in the blanket Shock had given her.
Turning back to Kate, she requested, "But if possible, could you
see if you could find a gloves or a scarf or something? You're
right, it's pretty cold," a bit awkwardly. She still wasn't used to
asking others for help.
"I'll check and see. No guarantees." Kate remembered Xavier's words
about not using human technology...but it was chilly down here. She
dragged Riko into the elevator, then disappeared
Shaking his head and sending water flying, Mystin grumbled, eyes
still closed, "Why are you frying red leaves? They aren't even that
good. Now toss a chesto berry into the lava and let's go rescue the
Miltank."
Kate started grabbing a bunch of poke dolls, the only warm thing
she could find...they would do. She took practically the entire
shelf and loaded them all into the elevator with Riko's help. They
then squeezed into the elevator and came back down
As the elevator doors opened and Poke dolls spilled out into the
basement, Tidal laughed aloud. "NOT what I was expecting," she
chuckled as she stood up and walked over to help.
Mystin sat up suddenly, still asleep. "What are you doing? That's a
Sharpedo, not a Miltank! Pull yourself together, man! We need a
Tamato Berry to coax it out of the tree!"
Kate shrugged. "Best we could find." She began distributing the
dolls to everyone, providing a cushion for them, even if they were
still asleep. She let everyone settle down with them, briefly
apologizing to Tidal about the jackets.
Mystin took the Pokedoll and stared at it with closed eyes, holding
it at arm's length. "At least you understand me, Tortuga." The doll
hit the side of his face, and he yelped. "I hate Spinarak! The're
terryfying!"
Mystin scrambled away. "Stop the Spinaraks!" He hit his head
against the wall, and his eyes flew open. "Ow.." he grumbled. "Why
am I wet? And why does my head hurt?"
