Ada'aon had frozen as soon as the human collided with it. And, with that, it had gone into a dormant state. Hence, it had only watched the fleeting feet of a fleeing human. Hence, it had also started to follow the human. It could already hear conversation between the human and something else. It also heard another tree fall as a stone tail collided with the wood. Glancing at the timber, it kept walking.

Geo let out an annoyed sigh, hoping it wasn’t something this stupid... He had a nagging feeling that this girl didn’t do it, considering how he didn’t see her on the path or that she couldn’t just somehow make the branches fall. His mind suddenly moved to another subject, one that questioned whether he had seen this girl before or not. He didn’t really pay attention to everyone else in the village, so he couldn’t say for sure, but he didnt think he had ever seen this girl before. Was she lost? Was she a part of some village on the other side of the forest? He grumbled as he rubbed the back of his head, glared at her for a few seconds, then turned to walk away in pure anger and annoyance

Lei knew he was onto her, but was slightly confused when he didn’t acknowledge it. Did he really care that little? Before she could do anything, she saw felt something similar to a pair of daggers land right on her face. The glare of that boy was as sharp and menacing as inevitable pain. You could feel it as clear as day, the feeling of fear. This caught her off guard a bit, allowing Geo to walk a few feet before Lei yelled after him. “Wait! I’m sorry, please don’t leave me behind!” She tugged at his shirt once she reached him, hoping that he would stop.

“Give me a good reason not to...” he grumbled and continued walking. Geez... he never knew someone could be so desperate for something that’s hardly a problem... The small girl’s tug hindered his steps a bit, making it an even more frustrating situation. She opened her mouth, only able to say the word “please” before she was silenced by Geo’s hand, shoving her face away from him in an attempt to get her to leave. “I’m not helping you! If you want help, go over there!” He yelled, quite loudly as well. He pointed in the direction of the rest of the children in a demanding way.

Lei fell to the dirty forest floor with a small grunt, a little annoyed herself. Guess she had to get the wanted reaction out of him a different way... Maybe she could somehow lure him over to where everyone else was? Well... she could try...
