but the worst part of it all? it’s real. very very real. the monsters, the demons, are real. The demons are a frightening sort; they look humanoid, but are something else under their human skins. more handsome, faster, stronger, more vicious, with eyes filled with the sinister fires of hell and black membranous wings like the devil himself. They come out at night, sucking blood from the unfortunate until they pass from blood loss. they tempt souls to sin, corrupting them into the kingdom of hell through brutal rituals; hypnosis, torture are among them. when they kill, they slaughter, and take no prisoners.
MOLTEN EYES AND A SMILE MADE FOR WAR !!
What left is there to do besides cowering in the shadows, praying to God that this bane ends? Many do, but some members of the clergy and the military have decided otherwise. The king has been dethroned, the leader of demons taking his place, but the queen has decided that by banding together, they can stand against their cold-blooded rulers. Or hell will consume us all.

• Follow all Pokéheroes rules. This is a roleplay that will get rather dark at times, but do not go overboard.
• Since this is a lit/semi-lit roleplay, I will require at least 400 words per post. Also try to keep grammar and spelling errors to a minumum. Keep that in mind when you’re signing up. If you need assistance, let me know over PP or PM and we can work something out. Alternatively, you could also make many characters, and work it out that way.
• Keep cursing and gore to a PG-13 level. No more. I don’t need mods kicking my butt over this RP.
• Please read the info and history for this RP before you make a character.
• Keep all forms to the discussion thread. This is to keep things tidy.
• Don’t spam. For your sake and for mine. Spamming will result in a report to PH mods and a block from me.
• Please try to be active. I didn’t make this roleplay so that it would die in two days. I am aware that with breaks coming up we can’t always be on PH. Please inform me prior to long absences so that I can mark your character down as ‘on hiatus.’ If you leave without warning, I’ll give you at most 1 week before I remove your character and the RP moves on without you.
• if you are on my blocklist, you may not join this RP.
Religion/Gods
this roleplay uses on egyptian lore. there will still be the obvious gods: isis, horus, ra, osiris, anubis, sekhmet & seth. i’ve also added one more god - for plot purposes - from celtic lore, called the morrigan. the priests/priestesses won’t always be able to see the gods in their incarnations, although they tend to take on animal or ‘spirit’ forms. sekhmet appears as a maned lioness. horus appears as one of his bird forms e.g. swan or a heron. most of the other gods send visions to interpret their will. poultices, medicine, and incantations, as well as the link of ones spiritual soul play a large role in religion. the white court as a whole is highly religious, and are extremely proud they have stayed in the gods good graces for so long. they’re practically a theocracy now, although their system has become incredibly corrupted over the years.
the court does host several celebrations during the year as praise and tribunal to the gods above.
