Afraid not. You have to collect its summon item and chain it like that!

you can get the summon items (griseous orb) from mystery boxes or buy them yourself. you can get to the ancient cave and summon the giratina. and it will give you a spooky manor map. you will be able to send a dark/ghost type pokemon to the rumble area. the pokemon will battle giratina. if your pokemon wins the battle, it will return with a dark orb. If it loses, it will return with the map, allowing you to resend. the dark orb can summon giratina egg.

ditto is breedable w/ any pokemon as long as it doesn't have to battle w/ a legendary pokemon in a map

@jolteon nah. Exceptions are the kanto birds

The only legends that can breed are those you get from the Pokédex completions
