They reached the forest, sure enough, there were explorers going around, taking notes of all the berry trees. In all honesty, Buttercup didn't really need to scout a path, she'd already memorized a few from her previous years, but she loved taking walks through the forest, as well as finding new paths with interesting berries. The goal of the contest was to gather as many different berries as possible, the winner, getting something small, like a rare flower or gem, but it was always fun!
