The scales came out near the back of the village. As the dragon they belonged to came into full view, Spiri noticed for the first time she was being followed, and Cloudsong was met with the startled face of a wingless SilkWing/IceWing hybrid

Cloudsong almost looked confused. She silently whispered to herself "is this a really big lizard or a wingless dragon? I can't tell."

Cloudsong almost wanted to back away, her Rainwing scales changing to a deep blue. She finally spoke "I was almost murdered- kind of, when I saw something shiny move. Was that you?"
