Aaaand here I'm back with another revamp!

Our story begins with humans. Out of nowhere, these humans were sucked into a world that only ever existed in their minds and merchandise. What a shock to find that all this was real! And now you are a Pokémon.

You wake up in a bed, you were unconscious. What surprises you is that a bunch of Leafeon are leaning over you, their noses trembling as they examine you. You seem to be in some kind of hospital...you look around and see Pokémon in beds similar to yours, all looking confused and scared, just like you. Then you look at yourself, you realize you are a Pokémon, too!

Once given the 'okay', you are informed that you will be assigned a guide to show you around the town, at least until you get over your amnesia and figure out what the problem is... You've lost all your memories. All you know is that you were human before, and you don't know where you are!

Outside the clinic, the town is rather bright, streetlights light up the streets, and through the windows the silhouettes of Pokémon moving about in their homes. In your line of sight you can see a restaurant at the end of the street, and several shops and houses. Then you turn to meet your guide, who introduces herself as Yoru, the Zorua(Though she appears to be a Mew) and tells you you're in Leaf Town, as she calls it, original home to the mysterious tale of The Dark Woods.


The legend of The Dark Woods is rather mysterious one. The legend of a cursed, dark forest with nothing but strange demon Pokémon with weird crystals growing all over them. Shadow synergy stones, they were called, and they corrupted the minds of the Pokémon unfortunate enough to be infected, but it's either that, or be killed. Pokémon were unsure of the truth behind it, some even thinking the legend was nothing more than a story.

The woods themselves are no myth of course. In fact, they are right next to our setting town, clear to see. They don't look suspicious from afar, but approach them and they give off a strange vibe that gives you goosebumps and causes your fur to prickle. No one is allowed to go in, for fear they may get lost and be killed. No one that has entered that forest has ever come out alive. At least, not to our knowledge.

Before you sign up, you must PM me if you wish to join, as this roleplay will work differently to other roleplays out there. Once you PM me with a message that you wish to join, I will generate 12 random pokemon for you to choose from, this will be your character to simulate an actual PMD experience. You may ask for 3 max rerolls and you may be special forms of the pokemon (Alolan and Galar)

You may also pick a certain type for the pokemon to be, if you wish.
