As the sun finally burrows its way to bed, the light of day gives way to neon lights and streetlamps. The smell of asphalt hits your nose as light rainfall hits the empty streets. Yet you press on. For the city never sleeps, and you have a job to do.
Welcome to Reverie City.
Setting
Hidden deep within the confines of Unova lies the city of Reverie. A city made by Pokemon- for Pokemon- with all the freedoms and amenities that entails. Humans live side-by-side with Pokemon here, with nary a pokeball in sight. Sounds like paradise, doesn't it?
No, no. Don't be fooled. Every city has a dark side.
From simple pickpockets to Pokemon theft, life here is not as simple as it seems. Yet the cops don't want to 'cause a ruckus' or ruin their beloved city's reputation.
That's why the Nightrunners were formed. Whether pampered by trainers, or living on the streets, this ragtag group of Pokemon decided to band together and do the dirty work themselves. No matter the cost. Yet only under the cover of night do they meet- for a group of Pokemon such as this would surely bring unwanted attention.
Rules
1. PH rules apply!
2. No bunnying, powerplaying, etc.
3. Romance and mild swearing are fine.
4. As long as you can keep up with them, no character limits.
4. No legendaries. Otherwise no limits!
Alright confession time- I have no idea where this rp is headed overall. I just suddenly got this idea and had to write it while I still had it in my head. However, I really don't want this to die! So feel absolutely free to add your own bit of plot or twist to things.

Species: Sylveon
Appearance: A Sylveon with sleek fur and, oddly enough, red eyes rather than the typical blue. Wears a bright red ribbon with a silver bell attached to the front.
Personality: Cinnamon acts like a typical, lazy house cat during the day, but she is not to be underestimated. She is actually quite the fierce battler, using her environment to advantage to make up for her smaller size.
Backstory: Currently lives with a single mother and a little girl named Haley. What happened in her past before them, she won't say.

Species: Litten
Appearance: As her name suggests, she has lost half of one paw. Her teeth are sharper than most Litten's, and her tail longer. She is also slightly taller than average, with larger muscles.
Personality: She prefers not to speak, and to observe things from a distance. She is fun to be around, though, usually because she is easy to tease and does not retaliate. She does sometimes tease back, and is very sarcastic. She never accepts help, usually due to trying to improve herself. People generally avoid her.

Appearance: He is your usual Mega Sceptile, tho his leaves on the arms are sharper than the usual ones.
Personality: He is always kind and gentle, but he might be short tempered.

Personality: She looks mean, but she's actually an incredibly jumpy and friendly pup who loves friends. Being a pack animal, anyone who earns her trust has her full support in all things. She doesn't do well with traitors or bullies, however.

Species: Shiny Pawniard
Appearance: (like my avatar) He has a dark blue hat with a cut through the middle of it for the helmet blade to fit through and has somewhat bigger eyes than most Pawniards
Personality: A naturally shy and bubbly guy who prefers to keep the mood light with optimism but has his dark moments occasionally. Very protective over friends.
Backstory: ((Optional)) Harvey was caught by a very loving trainer, but it all changed when the trainer started paying less and less attention to him, allowing him to sneak out every once in a while.
