Gale woke up, excitedly throwing off his blanket and jumping out of the bed. He quickly threw on some pants and a shirt, not really worrying if they matched. Today he was going to get his starter! He practically slid down the stairs, arriving in the living room. He made his way over to the kitchen, quickly pouring a bowl of cereal and scarfing it down. Once he had washed the dish he ran out, throwing on a jacket, and running to the lab.

Cloud looked out into the distance. She was waiting for the new trainers to arrive! Even though she was still a kid, she held great responsibilities.

Waking up, Jack is excited to get his starter, but is very tired because he went to bed at midnight after watching videos on YouTube. Jack gets ready to go to the lab as he puts a backpack on.

Gale finally arrived at the lab, knocking on the door. He had to admit a little, he more of pounded on the door. He hoped it hadn't annoyed anyone. He danced in place for a bit, biting his lip.

Jack then runs to the lab with his backpack on his back. He sees Gale walk in so he walks in behind Gale. He looks around the lab and puts his hands in his pockets.

"Yeah, we can totally be friends!" Gale said cheerily, walking into the lab. "Y'know, you're pretty young for a professor, though I guess that just means you're really smart!" He tried to ignore Jack as he brushed right past him. He didn't quite like the way he felt rather ignored by the other boy.

“No more silly explaining! It’s time to pick your starters!” Cloud then brings out a Sneak (fire snake), a Holo (water dog), and a Leafi (grass cat). “Time to choose, and venture off onto your Pokémon Adventure!”

Gale gave an excited nod, looking at the pokemon. He finally set his gaze on Leafi. "Could I take Leafi please?" He asked, bouncing on his heels.

Jack looks at the Pokeball. "Nah. Who nicknames their Pokemon anymore?" Jack then smiles in excitement that he got a Pokemon.

“Oh hi Mack! It seems you were a bit late, but don’t worry! We have one starter left! Go! Holo!” Holo came out of the pokeball and jumped on Mack’s head. “Well! It seems she really likes you!”
