A car pulls up in front if Jack's house while Jack is on his phone. He hears the doorbell ring, so he goes downstairs to check it out. One of Professor Birch's assistants signals Jack to the car where he hops in with his backpack from Lavaridge Town to Littleroot.

Aria woke up with the sun as usual. She ran through her morning preparations quickly, rushing downstairs just as the car pulled up. "Aria Breeze?" The assistant asked. Aria nodded, her bag already with her. "Great! Let's go!" She ushered her into the car. Aria couldn't help but note how easy it would be for someone to kidnap her like this. She was a pretty naive person after all.

The assistant makes it to the lab about half an hour later, signaling Aria into the lab a few minutes after Jack.

[Jack]

Jack waves to Aria as he waits patiently on his phone for Professor Birch to arrive. He plays Roblox on his phone while waiting for the others.

meg woke up to the sounds of a car outside her door. she said "crap im late for the pokemon thing" she queckly got on her stuff and went out the door. Mr birches asient said " Meg Hogan" and meg said " yes". she ran into the car and they drove away from dirtville.

Professor Birch comes in, panting. "Sorry I'm late. I was catching more starters in the wild." He places the Pokeballs on the desk and examines the kids, then points at Aria to come over. "We have Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip."

Aria looked at the pokeballs. “Hi there, would any of you like to join me?” A Treecko’s pokeball quivered. “You, then.” Aria picked up the ball and let out an energetic-looking Treecko. “I’m going to name you Spruce, if you’re okay with it.” Aria told him. The Treecko nodded. “Spruce it is!” Aria let the Treecko settle on her shoulder and walked back to the others.

Professor Birch smiled. "Okay. Good choice. Jack. You're up." Jack looks at the three Pokeballs, touching Mudkip's then moving to Torchic. Jack smiles and Torchic comes out of its Pokeball, breakdancing. Jack smiled. "I choose Torchic."

Professor Birch smiles as he puts new Pokeballs on the desk for newer trainers. "Ah yes. I almost forgot to give y'all Pokedexes and Pokeballs for catching. Have a nice time out there."

Jack receives his Pokedex and Pokeballs, and heads out with Torchic to the next town.

Professor Birch nods his head and walks to the back of the lab to do some research. He then gets up for some coffee.

Jack is in Odale Town and walks to a Poke Mart and buys some Potions

Aria took the items, thanked Burch and left. “Alright, Spruce, training first, catching first or progress first?” She asked Spruce. Sprint pointed to her pokeballs. “Catching it is! Be warned, I won’t ask you to battle during catching. I’ll only be asking the pokemon if they want to join.” Spruce nodded. Aria scanned him with her pokedex as she walked. Spruce apparently has the moves Pound, Leer and-to Aria’s surprise-Mega Drain. He had the ability Overgrow. They got into the patch of grass outside Littleroot.
