Fyssi's eyes fluttered open. She was in a cell... good. She
actually preferred this to being outside the cell, unable to help
her fellows. What worried her as the world caught up was that she
could smell Zeraora's scent, and couldn't see her son anywhere. She
pulled herself to a sitting position, aching, but calmed down,
starting to get concerned over her son missing, but not any trace
of the previous insanity.
The alarms were starting to die down a bit, then they stopped. They
would start up again if the problem wasn't fixed soon.
He wasn’t sure how they were going to break out like this. He
prayed for someone to rescue them, be it Flick or someone else.
Perhaps there was a way to smash the cage
Casually, initiating breakout. Goodbye demon. Meka clawed at the
hole some more and busted out of the containment unit. Of course,
the cuff were preventing her powers, but she knew she could make a
break for the exit. So that she did. She ran as soon as the alarm
started up again, beeping in an irritating pattern. She headed for
the dungeons.
The alarm was located in a sort of control room in the labs, with a
map showing the location of the problem.
Fyssi covered her ears at the alarm. "What in the hell is going
on!?" She screamed over the sound of the system. She swore this was
going to drive her insane, which was an over exaggeration,
considering her condition, but oh well.
The moment Akuma laid eyes on the map, his eye twitched “....Well
played.” He managed though gritted teeth. He ran though the wall,
passing by her previous containment chamber, and began checking all
around the building. The lack of him needing doors made it quicker
though.
All Meka could do was run, while clawing at the cuffs on her
wrists. If she could just reach the outside of the lab..she could
escape. As far as she knew, some of the others could be in the
dungeons, she should check there, it might be better than trying to
break free through the glass wall thingies.
Flick, unknowingly, was probably the only hope for escape for any
of them. Soon, he'd make his way to the dungeons to check on his
teammates. They were easily taking way too long.
Eventually, Akuma would end up finding Meka. It was only a matter
of time, not to mention even if he didn’t find her, she would have
bumped into a rocket grunt roaming the halls. Or maybe a more
violent member. But none of that mattered now. Akuma had one focus
What mattered to Meka now was exiting the lab. Perhaps the Rocket
members would be fooled by her facade. Maybe she could just pretend
the cuffs didn't do anything. Right now, she was quite sure Akuma
was going to take a very long time to find her. Hopefully enough
for her to navigate the maze and reach the surface.
Down in the labs, recently rebuilt, something was unstable...
clink! the locks of the cages malfunctioned. The alarms
started going crazy as the locks combusted. It looked like whoever
had rebuilt the cages had done a hasty job. The best solution would
be to get out. Now!
Fyssi and Spiri didn't hesitate either. Nothing about this mission
had gone as expected. Fyssi had forgotten about Flick and Meka,
right now she just wanted to escape the dungeons. Luckily, though,
Flick had chosen that time to go check on them, and met them on the
way out of the dungeons.
Spiri just yeeted the door open without paying attention to Flick.
She ran around the back of the building to group up with Fyssi and
Flick. She took a second to catch her breath. That had been a lucky
escape.
Farore started to flap his wings, lifting into the air. He clearly
just wanted to grab his mother and leave. He had not the slightest
idea why they were even her on this mission. He did know that he
had hated his experience.
Flick glanced at Spiri and teleported both Fyssi and Spiri to
Cerulean cave. The alarms had irritated him a bit, so he just
wanted to wrap up the mission. They could return for Meka later. He
tried to locate Bri as he came back for him using his ability to
read minds. He ended up somewhere a few feet from him. Yeah...he
hadn't had much use of that power.
"Hey. We got one." Flick slapped a hand on Bri's shoulder, and, in
a second, they were back in Cerulean cave, the trainers that had
sort of dozed off blinking as they returned
